Jake, I bought that shirt, too!! It's a moment of Redskins history worth treasuring. As soon as I saw it, I had to have it. My wife was concerned that I bought a shirt, but when I showed her the shirt, her eyes just lit up, and we...um...celebrated. Anyway, on my way down from the 400 level, I was walking with a dude who was telling me, "I'm worried for the Skins with Mark Brunell at QB". I was like "whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat???:hmm:". (this of course, because I'd just witnessed his performance, and was rockin' my Brunell jersey) It turns out, he was an Eagles fan. Long story short, I very diplomatically made him realize how great the Eagles are, even if they do have a habit of choking in the big games. He was hatin' on the Patriots, and I told him "you're the Patriots of the NFC, only with a penchant for losing the big one." I don't understand why an Eagles fan would a ttend a Skins game when it's not against the Iggles. Weird.

Maybe to remind himself of what a great team looks like.
People may not remember exactly what you did
or what you said....
~BUT~
they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.

I was trying to figure that out too. He's not a season ticket holder. We let him have it pretty good most of the game (I sit about 4 rows behind where he was sitting). Jake - thanks for posting, Katie and I were cracking up when you went over to pose with him.

There are plenty of these people around this area. They are called bangwagon fans or "frontrunners" and they probably at one point in time were Redskins fans, and will be again when we start winning again.

I'm not sure where Jake bought his, but I got mine from a street vendor between on the road/sidewalk from FEDEX to the shuttles that take you to Landover Metro Station. Oh yeah, On the back it says: "THIS IS REDSKINS COUNTRY!!"

Someone walked by with a bag full of shirts at the THN tailgate.
SkinsChic begged me for one, so I got one for both of us.
