I saw the other thread on Arrington, thanks. I'm not trying to be hard on Gibbs' play calling, I just always see him do this and last year it bit us in the butt more than once. Look at our time of possesion in the first half, we dominated, and we ran and passed and scored. The second half we ran 90% of the plays and we still had better time of possesion but we didn't score.... and almost lost because of it.
I have just never understood any coach that changes his game plan when it is 100% working for the team, it's like the prevent defense, the worst thing a defense can do. A teams defense dominates an offense all game then in the last part of the game changes their game plan and goes to a prevent defense and almost loses or actually loses the game, it happens all the time.
If the game plan is working and you are winning, stick with it. Too many games are decided by a field goal these days so you should never give up the opportunity to score as many points as possible.
