1st of all I want to say ELECTRONIC ARTS CAN DIE AND WITHER!!

Visual Concepts own, we're stuck with horrible looking Madden for 5 more years!

Now for what you all have been waiting for. Below are pictures of NBA 2K6 for the Xbox360. I wont even post the piss poor effort EA has produced called Live.

Amen CLL, we are stuck with fricken Madden for the next five years, I mean did have you seen their Xbox 360 graphics, it looks like a cartoon.

That's not gameplay, though, those are pre-renders. What kind of gameplay would have those kinds of tight shots and weird angles?

I was thinking replay with a manipulated camera. While most of those shots do look like pre-renders, one or two (the one of LeBron dunking) look like in game action to me--again, possibly as a replay with changed camera angle.

All the footage, from the video to the screenshots are 100% gameplay. I repeat, these are not cut scenes. These are not an artist's interpretation of gameplay. This is NBA 2K6.

Im assuming that you don't pay much attention to the gaming industry because this is standard fare amongst developers.

You must not have seen the crap that is Live 2006 for 360. Trust me a lot of the games look like trash. EA who makes Live and Madden are just copying and pasting stuff over to 360 and it really shows.

i am getting kind of sick of EA, actually. even on their non-madden and live games, like Tiger Woods and NHL and whatnot, everything looks the same from year to year. the animations, the players, the clothes (golf). on tiger woods 05, it looks so riduclous when the rough is just green shading with a few wisps of grass floating in the breeze that doesnt even affect your shot. im happy that visual concepts is making strides, and i can't wait until PS3 comes out so i can finally have some kickarse graphics.
