22 Starters

Post by Hail2DaRedskinz »

I'm curious.. Who will our 22 starters be come September? This takes some serious foresight and I'll record all Responses and post the scores after our 1st game.

This takes some serious foresight concerning who we will acquire in FA, who we will draft, etc.

Sure, it would be easier to do this after the draft and close to camp, but that's not as hard, though it would still be a challenge.

Here's my thoughts.

QB: Patrick Ramsey
HB: Duce Staley
FB: Rock Cartwright
TE:Jim Kleinsasser
WRs: Lavaranues Coles, Rod Gardner
OL: Jansen, Samuels, Dockery, Thomas, Larry Moore

CBs: Bailey and Smoot
Safeties: Sean Taylor and Ohalete
Backers: Trotter, Armstead, Arrington
DL: Darren Howard, Chad Lavalais, Bernard Holsey, Wynn.

some interesting thoughts... I'll think about it and get back to you, but for the most part I wouldn't mind that at all.

There is no way Ramsey will start, partly because he may not be here, the other reason is that Brunell is paid more than half of the starters in this league...

Why not Cartwright? He's already signed. Johnson hasn't really shown much. Rock plays with the kind of heart Joe Gibbs likes. I think Cartwright will be the FB, if we even have one.
oops....sorry!

WR- Rod Gardner
WR- Taylor Jacobs

LT- Chris Samuels
LG- Derrick Dockery
C- Dave Fiore/Lennie Friedman

MLB- Jeremiah Trotter
OLB- Jessie Armstead

CB- Mario Edwards

I think the problem with Cartwright is size...

He's just 5'7'' 223 pounds... you know, now that I think of it... I'm a big Mike Sellers fan, I'm glad he's back! :-)

Cartwright has shown he do some tough running, but as far as the everydown fullback is concerned, Johnson is the man. I'm glad Mike Sellars is back too, but Johnson is still my guy. Remember, who was clearing the way for Cartwright on those tough runs?
