In his official blog on redskins.com, Rock Cartwright wrote:Beating the Dallas Cowboys last Monday night was a great win and I think it will give us a lot of confidence going into the bye week. It was an exciting win and as a team we're all still feeling good about ourselves. It was a big win for Coach Gibbs and a big win for this organization and the fans.
Back in Washington, I can sense the excitement from the fans and it's a great feeling. You can never get too excited, though. There's always another game. We're going to ride this victory out until we have to go play Seattle on Oct. 2.
In the moments after the game, I saw Clinton walk over behind Coach Gibbs with the Gatorade jug of water. I told him I would help him with it. I knew it was a big win for Coach Gibbs and I was excited for him. He hadn't beaten a Bill Parcells-coached team since 1987.
It's exciting to read a player's take on the win, and some of the behind-the-scenes action following the win on Monday Night. Rock definitely sounds upbeat, and it seems like the team are buying into the system.
