49ers game tailgating
I bought tickets for the 49ers game for my best friend's birthday. He is a life long Redskins fan. We are flying in from Utah for the game. I would like to know if there is a Utah contingent, or anyone, who would adopt us for tailgating before the game. We are not LDS, and like to party rather robustly. We will be staying at a nearby hotel (not yet decided, any suggestions?) and will taxi to the stadium. Any thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the board!
For the Mormon-challenged, LDS = Latter Day Saints ....
...unless you misspelled the name of a drug.

Back and better than ever!

Your welcome to join us for the official tailgate party. Free food, the Hogettes, it's an all-around good time.
RIP 21

Took me a minute to "get" the acronym. Do mormons call themselves "Latter Day Saints?" I mean, I know that's part of the name of the church, but it seems an odd label to apply to one's self...
Anyway, there is an official theHogs.net tailgate in the Green lot (use the search above to find the posting), and then some members also tailgate around elsewhere. I know JusticHog is in Red Lot #4.

Yeah...actually the president of the LDS church has asked that all the members stop referring to themselves as "Mormons" and use the Latter Day Saints moniker. Silly. I certainly did not intend to comply with his request, just a slip of the fingers. [/i]
