Yeah, but he's still only 21st. At least he's going in the right direction, I've got to give Brunell that. If Brunell can get it together for the rest of the season like he did at the end last night, the playoffs are a lock. The rest of the pieces are already in place.

Koy Detmer at #26 LMFAO. It doesn't hurt that his team was up 35-7 when he came in. He's the 26th best holder maybe.

not that it will last, but Mark Brunell is ahead of Peyton, Vick, & Delhomme

How is Daunte Culpepper ahead of Mark Brunell in these power rankings?
I mean, yeah he has had the more statistically impressive career. But this year Culpepper is on pace to shatter the record for INT's in a year and he has already thrown as many as he did all of last year. And Brunell has only thrown one INT and has thrown one more TD than him.
How ridiculous.

I was wondering the same thing.
I think his ranking must have started a lot higher than Brunell's or something.
The ESPN rankings are out:

Lots of people think the Eagles are better. Sorry but the Falcs beat 'em fair and square. I like teams that come back, and Atlanta showed a lot of guts making that late run at the Seahawks.
18. Washington Redskins (2-0)
For 55 minutes against the Cowboys they were in danger of dropping a few spots from their lowly 23rd position. For five minutes they achieved a five-spot raise.
19. Dallas Cowboys (1-1)
Yeah I know, the law of supply and demand, or maybe it's diminishing returns, or stationary bodies, mandates that I keep this team beneath the one that beat it. If I had any guts, I'd put Dallas higher than Washington, anyway, and face up to the cries of bloody murder I'd be hearing from Pennsylvania Ave.
Is this guy a tool, or what?

This guy is an IDIOT! Pardon my words not spelled but are you kidding me? Sometimes people just are biased.
A lot of people are saying that Dallas lost not Washington Won. I think that we have done a really good job so far. Look at the defenses we've played up against. They are some of the best. And especially this time of year. Look at the scores of the games. They all are pretty low so if you put it in retrospect.
Many annalist are picking Chicago to win the NFC North and Dallas was picked for 2nd in the NFC East and a playoff team.
We beat those guys outright. It wasn't pretty. Matter of fact it was pretty damn ugly but a win is a win. We played by the rules most of the time and beat them. What we did was exploid Dallas' coverage that they gave us all night.
I'm not one of these crybabies that thinks his team doesn't get any respect but I feel we should get a little bit of credit.
