Most Important Plays
I was trying to think of all the plays we HAD to make for the win. I ranked them in order of importance (in my opinion). Are there others?
1) 4th Down TD pass to Moss
2) 3rd Down (i think it was almost 20yd) run by Brunell
3) Gibbs' decision to start Brunell (Ramsey couldn't have made that run and he sure as hell doesn't have the poise to lead that type of comeback. Say what you want about the first 3.9 quarters, Brunell came through)
4) TD pass to Moss (2nd one)
5) Sean Taylor's crushing blow to Creyton on what was gonna be a first down (Did you see the replay of that...Taylor was almost 10 yards away when the ball was in the air)
6) W. Harris' 4th down tackle (He played great by the way)
7) N. Novak doing his job and making sure they didn't return that kickoff (I almost died on that one)

Oopsies! What's that taste like?

There are still a number of people here who agree with you. There are a lot more who know that Ramsey could not do that. Fortunately, for all of us who know that, Joe Gibbs also knows that!
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

You know nothing, and until you admit that, you will always be lost.

And I guess Brunell's performance last year just never happened? Or was that just his evil twin?

Ramsey should STILL be the starter and could not have played any worse than Brunell in the first 55 minutes of the game. All this "see I told you Gibbs was right" is bogus. Brunell STUNK for 56.5 minutes. I'm glad we pulled it out, but the fact remains the same. If the Cowboys hadn't been stopped, missed FG and hadn't got snot bubbles knocked outta them all night by the defense. The Boys held the ball most of Qtrs 1,2 & 4.
If any player deserves more credit it was Marcus Washington - the dude was all over the field, all night long and on ST's!
Hey, I'm happy we won - but it shouldn't have been this close against such a marginal team - Ring of Honor or no, Ring of Honor :0)

See, thats why I said Novak should be our placekicker and Hall should be our regular field goal kicker.
