yeah, that was a really convincing win! we're sure to go to the superbowl now!

what you people fail to understand is that you can cheer for your team AND disagree with the decisions they make. that doesn't mean you don't love the team! every one of us here wants the same thing: to win. we disagree about what the best way is to do that. your "bandwagon" post is needlessly divisive, i guess it makes you feel smug and superior to think that you were right.

Huge win for the team, huge win for the city, huge win on all cylinders. What a hell of a football game! 2-0 going into the bye, win over Dallas, a win in our division, going to get healthy and be ready for Seattle! CROW, IT'S WHAT'S FOR DINNER!!

HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, anyone who wasn't totally depressed and or furious during the vast majority of the game, stand up in this thread and say so, and then you can go around determining who is and isn't allowed to be a fan.

DCD posted a thread in the midst of a HORRID performance, YET AGAIN, by the offense.

After the result, he appologized, but pointed out that we still have some serious problems wto address on offense (like, oh, I don't know, the frist 55 minutes of the game when we couldn't do anything but punt and turn the ball over!).

Give a guy a break.

Can't we celebrate the victory?

Post by die cowboys die »

would it be possible for us to celebrate this victory together as skins fans? or are we going to ruin the afterglow by being petty and name-calling, and criticizing people for not blindly endorsing every decision the team makes? it's low class to kick someone while they're down. i love the redskins. i love them at least as much as any of you do. the first 55 minutes of the game were a nightmare. it looked like an even worse version of ALL of last year. i think i had a reason to feel like we were going nowhere.

even if you disagree with me, is it neccessary to try and make me feel like crap? after suffering through every horrible loss to the cowboys in recent history (and many in not so recent history), i don't deserve to enjoy this win, just because i dared to get pissed off that our team was playing so terribly?

i don't understand why we can't disagree about things while understanding and appreciating that we ALL love the skins and just want to win.

rubbing things in people's faces when they ADMITTED they made a rush judgement out of frustration is pretty childish/petty/low-class. let's join together out of love for the skins and revel in the victory!

HAIL REDSKINS!!!

DCD,...no...you and my brother both (who is a fan but doesn't frequent this board). For years now I've been getting calls from him, halfway before the game ends,...maybe the thrid quarter....maybe the fourth (as he did tonight). It's always the same "The Skins don't have it, blah blah, maybe next year, blah blah, I'm going to stop watching the game now". What this always boils down to, although you and he would never admit it, it's about being a Fair Weather Fan. That's what my brother has proven to have been, and now you (as well as others). Stay a fan, you're probably a good guy,...but no mercy tonight. Never give up on Gibbs.

You keep throwing the wet blanket on the celebration - dude, we know what happened the first 56:05, but the game is 60 minutes, and despite bad field position the whole night the defense held them off. A total team effort. We're jumping up and down about the victory and you're grabbing our sleeves and relentlessly harping about the negatives. We see you, we hear you...we understand you..now jump up and down and enjoy it!

PERFECT. I saw that smile, too, and what a great smile to see as a fellow diehard fan. He had a "gut feeling" to choose Brunell. He is a man of God. Oh how sweet to steal the game from the Cowboys who played well all game, as they did to us last year in the last seconds. Gibbs is the man. Faith gets you there, and we had it!!

CROW, IT'S WHAT'S FOR DINNER!! LMAO CHRIS LUVA LUVA.
DE Renaldo Wynn re: Marcus Washington: “They were like, 'No.53, man, what’s his deal?’” Wynn says, smiling. “I told them, 'This dude is full speed.’ Even when they were kneeling on the ball, he was still coming. Marcus has only one speed.”
