Yeah, I don't want to read your lame apologies...you wishy-washy, unfaithful, fair-weather, non-believing Brunnel haters...how dare you...

UN FARKING REAL!!!!

WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!

I was ripped because of the way ABC and the League handled the games... didn't join the game till midway through the 3rd quarter... but, all I needed to see was the last 4 minutes.

Amen HitDoctor...I didn't sign on until after the game and I can't believe everyone posting that Gibbs needs to be fired/his personal friendships clouded his judgement, bla, bla, bla.

Relax, and give it time people.

For those that doubted our JJG - We will not forget. We need names. We need to know and remember who they were. These people should be given a special asterisk placed beside their avatars. This victory does not belong to them....they had run out of faith.

stop hatin on gibbs.

stop hatin on brunell.

stop saynig our receivers are too small and we can't win with them in this day and age.

stop underrating our defense. don't tell me that dallas' d is better than ours, and that roy williams is better than sean taylor. it just ain't true.

stop hating our play calling--so what if its vanilla...who is 2-0 and on top of the NFC east going into our bye week? yeah, that's what i thought.

stop telling me that our offensive line is terrible. yeah we give up sacks, but whose offensive linemen play with two broken thumbs? whose offensive linemen gut it out every week to protect a different guy?

ATV--you're absolutely right. faith is what carries us through life, whether its faith in god or faith in gibbs, to me it makes no difference. those who believe will be rewarded, as we were tonight.
Sean, may you always rest in peace and look down on us with the same love that we look up to you.

Hail to the Redskins!

/agreed ...and I'm also man enough to eat crow so I'm going to baste mine with a little lemon sauce and lemon pepper (to cut the "gameyness") and broil for 45 minutes before eating it tonight ...

Until further notice ... the job is Brunell's and I will hold my tongue until he starts stinkin' up the joint again. But I commend those who have more blind faith than I. Your diligence was rewarded and all of us Redskins fans were delivered a most improbable and long-overdue victory.

Brunell was horrible the whole game...threw away a field goal opp...gave Cowpukes a score...got sacked six times, fumbled...Then delivered two beautiful passes. Go figure. I'm happy to win. but do think it has its downside long term in that it encourages Gibbs-- Brunell should be a backup. We got lucky tonight.
Moss came up with a stunning performance. And don't forget Sean Taylor's tackle (I think it saved the game.) I also think we're a better team than Cowpukes and would have beaten them with Ramsey at the helm. Their D looked much better than it is tonight because it was able to get away with ignoring the long pass until the very end.
If Brunell can keep throwing long like he did at the end I'll change my mind about him, but not until. We simply have got to have those kind of strikes.

:hmm: Y'all are having church up in here, and I wasn't invited??

Well, for those of you who still wonder how it's possible to have blind faith for the team, I offer up the following:

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. --Hebrews 11:1

Joe's "gut feeling" about Brunell, was him displaying faith in him, even when he knew the fans would call for his head.

...the testing of your faith develops perseverance. ---James 1:3

Those who understand faith can deal better with the Skins woes because we still maintain hope in those things that "we cannot see", i.e. Brunell throwing two long bombs in a hostile environment to win our biggest game of the year.

And finally, we can learn from the following:

...we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. Romans 5:3-4

It's easy for anyone to get on a message board, or go on the airwaves, to bash our team, our coach, or anything else they wanna complain about, but those who build their character through the lessons learned during the hard times (i.e. 14 of 16, anyone?) can retain their composure even when the going gets rough, á la Joe Jackson Gibbs, Mark Brunell, and those other cats on the squad that kept fighting late into the night, long after the "Redskins faithful" went to bed.

Enjoy the victory y'all. The future is a lot brighter for the Skins today!!!!

Blessings! O:)

WE BEAT DALLAS!!!
