skins vs cowpukes players and fan comments

Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

skins vs cowpukes players and fan comments

Post by frankcal20 »

I just hear Chris Samuels make a comment that was pretty dag on funny. "I never like the Cowboys anyways. It just seemed fitting that I would become a Redskins." In free agency, how often do you hear a player say something like that. Most guys watch what they say b/c they are worried that it may affect their chances of getting picked up by the other team later. I just like to think that some guys are willing to give 100% of themselves like Samuels. He took on the feelings of the fans. Gotta love it.

Yeah, I heard that soundbite, and I was glad to hear that. Let's hope the young bucks on this team, can catch some of that attitude goin' into tonight's game.

Shawn Springs' Dad played for Dallas. I didn't know that but he knows the Rivalry and I bet he would love to beat them. I know that Thrash grew up a skins fan so he feels a certain way against Dallas. I'm just ready to see a "W" against them.

I read somewhere this morning that several old time Redskins have been calling Dallas rookies, Ware in particular, trying to rattle him. The same article implied that Gibbs has made a real point this offseason and this week about bringing in old players, etc. to pound into their heads what it means to wear burgundy and gold. Also, how much they hate Dallas and what this rivalry should mean to them. Hopefully it will rub off on them!

I'll see if I can dig up the article but I think it was in the Post's free addition they hand out on the metro so I don't know if the article's online.
The opinion of 10,000 men is of no value if none of them know anything about the subject.

Patrick Crayton grew up a Cowboys fan in Oak Cliff. Here is his quote...

"You always picture yourself playing in that game, Cowboys-Redskins," Crayton said. "You always wanted to play in that game. Big rivals."

You might remember him from our last game.

Why does it look like Springs is trying to block/hold Taylor?

The only reason the pukes won that game was because Springs was holding Taylor back.

Cowboy Fan,

You seem to have all the video's. Do you have the one where Aikmans career is over by LaVar.

No, but I'm sure he has the one where Aikman found Raghib Ismail in OT that one time you guys choked a 3 TD lead back in '99
