Washington and Chicago... Highly Underated...

Post by Midway Monster »

Hey all... Had to come back to say HI...

As you are well aware the Bears had a tough loss to you last week. Yesterday was a wonderful day for us. We are now leading the North and proved the (Talking Sports Heads) wrong. (Crow,,, it's whats for dinner)

Anyway, I wanted to wish you luck tonight. I know the press loves the Boys.. and the Vikes... (Are they ever right?)

I think your team is a very good football team. I think your D will give the Girls fits tonight. I do not like the Girls one bit and seeing them lose makes me warm all over.

Well that's all from Midway Monster... You guys kick that butt tonight...

PS: Our rookie did well yesterday... I told people he was very good... he just looked bad playing the second best D in football.... (You know I think ours is the best) 1.9 pts a quarter... Hope you guys shut em out tonigt..

Bye..... See ya in the playoffs.........

Midway Monster Out....... Bear Down
Best Wishes

Yeah, I have the Carolina defense on my fantasy team, and with them playing the Patriots, I picked up Detroit's defense for one week. Detroit got 1 pt, Carolina got 10, and I'm down by three going into tonight.

I hope Santana Moss gets 50 TD's as long as Joe Horn gets 51. ;-)

But back on topic, I was impressed with what I saw out of Chicago this weekend. Orton didn't look like Peyton Manning or anything, but he definately looked better than Harrington.

Man your offensive line is plain out nasty. I loved watching that. Great performance by Jones and Benson. Grossman has lost his job...

Congrats MM! The Bears played lights out! If it wasn't for their D I would have lost my fantasy match up this week. Can you say 36 points!! Orton will turn into something special sooner than later as he's already starting to gel with the Moose and is very patient in the pocket.
Good Luck with the rest of the season!

I watched some of that game, you guys picked off Joey 5 Times and shut them down to 6 points. No wonder our offense had trouble moving the ball. Well, hope to see you in the playoffs as well.

I think we have a decent chance of making the playoffs. But for some reason I do not think we will be seeing the Bears with us. Of course, with the way the NFC North has being going this year who knows who will come out on top.

Thanks for the support and congrats on your win. You guys kicked some serious behind. I was glad to see the big win. After last weeks game I thought both our teams are not getting any credit. We'll take all the support we can get. I agree that just about everyone wants the boys to win this game, probably even the league, and certainly the media. We have a monumental task tonight, but right now I'm feeling real good about our chances. If you know any other Bears fans who can help support the skins tonight we'd love the help. Maybe our collective support will be enough to get us a win so you can have that warm feeling you were talking about.

Cheers!!

MM, deleted your double post.

By the way, I watched the game yesterday with my brother-in-law. That Bears defense was awesome. I knew they could play that well but I guess I wasn't ready for it yesterday. Orton didn't look too bad, either. He had a nice zip on his TD pass to Muhammad. Muhammad actually got crushed while making the catch and was still able to hold onto the ball.

The Bears began the end of Harrington's career as a Lion on Sunday.

Some of the best defenses in the NFL in my -biased- view are:

1. Redskins
2. Bears
3. Jaguars
4. Colts
5. Bucaneers
6. Bills

if this ranking is even close to true, it's scary to think what the colts will do this year.

Scary indeed. Dungy is working his magic in Indy. Colts must be the number 1 team in any rankings this week.

The Jags defense is IMPRESSIVE. Colts could barely win with a late game TD. I would hate to play either of those two teams next week.
