Hey Joe! Watch out for "The Play"

Post by Deadskins »

There is one play that the Tuna has pulled out in about %98.5 of the games he has coached against Joe Gibbs. You know the one, the RB takes a hand-off, and runs to the outside, then stops and throws a 15 yard pass for the game winning TD. We fall for it every time. The way to spot this play is to watch the RB. If he runs laterally, or even slightly backwards he is surely going to pass. Bill always picks the same spot of the game to pull this play out. His team inside our 30 when he most needs a score (late 3rd or 4th quarter).

I know what you mean. We must sniff out that play and shut it down.

That's what Coach Parcells refers to as a J*p Play :lol:

Parcells usually calls a "Jap" play about every other game. It's nothing new.

I'll give you a fair hint;

Watch out for the flea flicker or the reverse pass :wink:

And you need to watch for our fake reverse pass that Mark executed to perfection on Sunday. Joe's got a few jap plays of his own.

...though he probably doesn't call 'em that. :oops:
