I think this board offers him the opportunity to do something about it. Which is vent his anger/frustration.
Wouldn't you agree? Or is this board only for those who agree with everything Gibbs and the Redskins do 100% of the time?
Many of us will always root for the Redskins no matter if we, after honestly looking at the two teams, think they will lose. Its called being a fan, but not living in fantasyland.
 For the umpteenth time, read BTP!'s sig line. Then you'll understand his comment.
You might also consider starting a thread where you can vent about people not understanding that this is aplace where you can vent about others venting....
okay... what was the subject of this thread again?
RRRRRRRrrrrrrrr... easy kitten... no need to go on the attack.... just wondering when bitchfest 2005 will end so we can get back to Dallas...
This is Washington bro... we're going to have a QB controversy until one QB starts winning (either people bitching about ramsey or brunell). So I guess the recent bitchfest2005 will truly end when Brunell actually puts points on the board and stops throwing passes to the ants on the field. Thats my point.
And yes - I know you don't want to be taken seriously. But if you don't want to get stung, then don't poke the hornets nest when the hornets are already angry.
I wouldn't have put it there if I was afraid to be stung Mr. Hornet... and there's been plenty of time to vent... at some point we need to move on and support whoevers back there... if we want to win... ..

CurveBall - "It might be YOUR biggest game of the year but it really doesn't seem to be as big a deal for Dallas fans anymore."
Yes, you´re right BTP and REDEEMEDSKIN: I´m extremely frustrated about how this situation has become with each passing day more and more convoluted.
As taiphoon says, this should be a place to vent your anger when the team you´ve loved for the last 20 years can´t take one step forward without taking two steps back.
Listen, the last ten years of beeing a Redskin fan have been tough. My frustration is mostly because in Gibbs first time around you had QB controversys, not QB dilemas, as one sportswriter put it.

If you ask one camp of Skins fans or another right now, it will take a loooong time before the controversy is resolved.
I HATE QB controversies. I really do because they mean that both QBs are not playing well enough to establish themselves. The whole team suffers.
All throughhout this ordeal, I have developed a great deal of admiration and respect for GW and our entire defense. They have been rather Stoic about it. There is no finger-pointing against the offene. They know they have to carry us over this period (last season and hopefully not all of this season).
Hail to the Redskins!

With all the players moving around in todays sports, it really comes down to cheering for the uniform more then the player in it. I do not care who the quarterback is as long as that guy leads us to W's. If we win Monday night, it will all be forgiven, put your faith in Gibbs.

That is precisely why Joe made the move. He sees Brunell as capable of estblishing himself as the teams QB. If he thought Ramsey could do it, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
As for the team suffering, I don't think the team will miss a beat, and I have a strong feeling that they will improve. You can dwell on the negative thoughts about the team, if you wish. As for me, I'm leaning on the hope that this team will finally show up and whoop Dallas' tail on Monday Night and have continued success throughout the remainder of the season.
Damn, I go away for a couple of days, and all hell breaks loose.
I am still having a hard time believing that this happened. Making this change can only hurt Patrick's confidence, and it means that coach Gibbs, not only misled Patrick, but the team, and the fans as to his confidence in Patrick. It seems like he saw how they both played in the pre-season, wanted to make the switch then, but didn't feel that he was able to. The injury to Patrick was just a convenient excuse. Still, as a PR move this is about the worst thing that could happen to the 'Skins this early in the season. This just gives the Pasquerelli's, the King's, and the Zimmerman's of this world more justification for their "The Redskins organization is in chaos" theories.

From now on, you are grounded!!!

There's no one to blame for Ramsey's happy feet, faults, etc. than Spurrier. The kid had lots of potential and was 'for real' as far as being an NFL-caliber quarterback. But with Spurrier's offense and lack of a blocking scheme during his years here caused some serious mental damage on him. Even though the Gibb's offense is light-years above Spurrier's, mentally, Ramsey still thinks he's going to hit and sandwiched by a 300-lbs lineman and linebackers.
This is seriously getting worse and worse. I wish we had more PreSeason games to get this all sorted out because as of right now, it seems as if the season has come to fast.
Ugh! This is a major mess...
Is it true? If so we wont get much, but a draft pick for him!
3 Superbowl victories
3 different quarterbacks
3 different running backs
That happened for a reason.
Gibbs knows something.

I do like Patrick's tenacity, humility, and fortitude despite what the masses say about him, but he just has not executed, and it seems the INTs he throws are not just regular INTs but INTs that cause the other team to score or get good field position. I don't blame him, but too, he knows more than anyone the dire mistakes he's made, which may be why he wants to bail.
Brunell dashed my hopes last year as most people's, but he is a different man this year. You can feel the positivity behind him, the confidence, and you can see he has legs now that his hamstring is healed. Sunday he seemed to have the "Ramsey Jitters" but other than that he looked nothing but solid to me.
However, the future is Campbell, and I don't see why NOW is not Campbell. He is that awesome IMO, better than the other rookies in the league who are starting. He needs a fine introduction to primetime NFL, though, so let the dogs out! I believe Gibbs had this idea when he drafted Campbell. I believe "all will be revealed", and all naysayers will see that what appears to be a mistake, was calculated, intentional, and wise, all along.....
