I see Ramseys value in the same league as Gardner. The whole NFL knows that the coaches dont want him so I bet no one is willing to give up even a 3rd rounder for him.
But personally I don't think we will trade him. Except for the Bears, no one really needs a QB and its unlikely that they would trade for a QB in the middle of the season. I mean Ramsey will have to learn a new system, get a rap with the new WR, and this is the last year of his contract.
So I think we will just hold on to him for insurence, or hopefully as our starting QB.
And just for kicks, I would say an early 4th rounder for him.

I know I'm ready to see a change, although I'm not sure who thought that Brunell was the answer.
If Ramsey is indeed seeking a trade, let's get him to Miami to back up Frerotte...they have a few people over there that we could use.

You guys really think we are going to a 1st or 2nd round pick for Ramsey?? I think we'll be lucky to get a 3rd or 4th. A 2nd would be a miracle and i'm not even going to entertain the idea that any team would give up a 1st round pick for Ramsey.
We won a Super Bowl with Jay Schroeder (Doug Williams) and Mark Rypien, why not with Ramsey or Brunell =)

We will definitely get a 1st or 2nd rounder for Ramsey if the Redskins force the issue instead of taking whatever is offered. You guys need to realize that Ramsey's skills are reguarded pretty highly by scouts around the league. The perception is that he's never been in a good situation and now isn't being given a fair shot.
There are plenty of teams in the NFL that will take a shot at getting Patrick.

Here is a thought. Perhaps I am going out on a limb but I would suggest A QUARTERBACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If we were to trade Ramsey that would be correct
We might get something for him in the offseason if he's not starting by then

I disagree. He ain't T.O., and, if anything, he has shown class throughout his entire tenure here. He will not poison the locker room.
Perhaps this gives lights a fire under Ramsey so he's ready to manage the team should Brunell go down to injury. Last year, someone told me that Brunell would get injured. I doubted it, and he most certainly did. His performance sucked, and Ramsey had to back him up.
While I'd like to see #8 go the entire season, and lead us to the playoffs, I'll be more than happy to have a young, hungry stud QB with a chip on his shoulder come in off the bench. And, no, I'm not even considering Campbell this year.
Back and better than ever!
If I remember correctly, there were reports out of Arizonia that he was unhappy there. He was asking for a trade and Dennis Green convinced him to stick it out a while longer. This would be a great trade!
