Cowpukes game is huge for us this season...IMO

Post by ike075 »

Yes it is sad but true but we are in week two and wondering if this up coming game will make us or break us this year. If Brunell plays well and scores minimally a few touchdown dare I say we even beat Dallas we will all be saying Patrick who? However the sad fact is if Brunell shows us the same Brunnel as last year, oh yeah of last week too then where do we go?

Rightfully so Ramsey is asking for a trade so his confidence is a shot. Gibbs is to proud to acknowledge that he might have rushed to judgment (lets see three sets of downs) and switch back to Ramsey. It is too early for Campbell to come in and bringing him in is like throwing up our hands and saying this season is over. SO where would we go from there? The only hope at that point (beyond Brunell showing us a side WE HAVE NEVER SEEN) is the defense scoring the touchdowns.

Sorry guys I ain't in the camp that all you need is an offence that does hurt you and you are OK. Let me do the simple math. If we can't score any points....you can never win. The best we can do is tie every game. I can't believe it is week two and I am thinking the next game can tell a lot about the season and can make us or break us.

i agree, this game will pretty much tell us whether there is any hope for the season. if brunell looks good and gets us a few TDs, we will be ok. if brunell looks like crap, the season is over. after 2 games, over!!! amazing.

What is the difference between us and Pittsburg from last year?

I just sat here and thought about it for a minute and can't really see any huge differences.

I'm not saying we are going 15-1, but to all the die hard Ramsey supporters, Don't lose faith just yet. Better yet never lose faith.

Ramsey was one player on this team, and for anyone to say the whole season has went down the tubes is rediculous. It is not like we benched Payton Manning or something.

And yeah it was messed up how Ramsey was treated here in Washington. Well guess what, this is a business. We are trying to be in the business of winning and you (Ramsey) just are not what we are looking for, sorry.

In any other business if Ramsey were demoted (for not performing up to his boss' standards) and complained about it, he would have just lost his job.

I say get rid of him while he still might have some value.
Still the Coaches know best. So what ever they decide to do I will support because I am a Washington Redskins fan.

It is a cliche but it might be true next Monday:

The team with fewer turnovers wins!
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
