It's usless to the discussion to do that.
My bad.]We get it! You like Brunell. Might I point out that maybe you aren't the best judge of who should be our QB? I mean, being the sole member of the Danny Woeful fan club.
Wrong. I'm a fan of Wuerffel, the man and Brunell, the QB.
Plus, I'm not the only one who sees Brunell as the better option THIS YEAR. Had this happened last year...maybe your argument would have some legs to it. This year, though, I don't think so.
Well, you are wrong. Brunell didn't show nearly as much as you think he did in preseason. Not only was he playing against scrubs, but there were no gameplans meaning that someone with much less experience (i.e. Patrick) is not going to look as good as someone with years and years as an NFL starter!
In the preseason, Brunell looked better than the following other starting QBs, listed here with their stats from Sunday:
Joey Harrington: 15 for 28, 167yds, 2 TDs in a 17-3 Win
Ben Roethlisberger: 9 for 11, 218yds, 2 TDs in a 34-7 Win
Tim Rattay: 11 for 16, 165yds, 2 TDs in a 28-25 Win
Drew Bledsoe: 18 for 24, 226yds, 3 TDs in a 28-24 Win
Which of those QBs did he look better than on Sunday?
