It was loud, indeed. We, the fans, did our job today.
The opinion of 10,000 men is of no value if none of them know anything about the subject.

I didn't go to the game but man I couldn't hear the announcers on FOX for allmost the whole game. I credit the fans for a making a HUGE diffrence in this game.

I am still a little "horse" from the game and the difference in the 4th qtr by the crowd was energising to the guys on the field and the crowd also!
This was a vastly different ratio than we are used to seeing at home games and hopefully will continue this season. We saw a lot of bears fans (rightly so) BUT we saw a huge majority of Skins fans! I know it was the opener but this was a big deal "home crowd" for our team.

Okay we have some "issues", but we saw a big "assist" from the home crowd today.

I just loved the whole opening day thing!
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Normally I'd be one of the first to criticize the fans for their lackluster effort but today cannot be one of those days.

The crowd was rowdy and loud for 60 minutes. The Bears fans were scattered (come on it's a 93,000 seat stadium, there's gonna be a few opposing fans wherever you go) but they made very little noise.

The run of 3 straight penalties followed by the sack effectively knocked the Bears out of field goal range and ended up being the decisive series of the game. I know it was partly bc of the rookie QB, and our great defense, but you can't tell me the crowd had nothing to do with that sequence.

Great job Redskins fans!

I did my part yesterday, but the reality of the situation is that FEDEX Field is just too damn big, and as long as Snyder yearns for that upmarket, yuppie, money spending type of clientele, he'll lose the working class, blue collar, type of folk that used to make RFK so special.

P.S. You know it's football season when you wake up on Monday morning without a voice!! I LOVE IT!!
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

SOMETHING MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!

I'm sure if we play a more popular team (sorry Bears!), it will be different, but yesterday was nice.
