Seriously, what's the deal with the refs? I don't want to hear this "it all evens out" BS because I cannot remember the last time we have had a significant BAD call go in our favor over the past few years yet it seems like we get cheated on a weekly basis.
That hit on Ramsey was just unbelievable, under the modern NFL rules it is unsportsmanlike conduct to clothesline anyone, let alone a QB, and it has been like that for a long time. Not to mention everyone knows you can't go for a QBs head! That hit deserves a big fine. What's more, it nullified a scoring situation.
Then what about Taylor's forced fumble on Muhammed? It just annoys me because this happens every game and yet we never seem to get away with similar luck. It's like we're cursed or something. At least this team showed it could overcome that today. If you play well, bad calls shouldn't affect the outcome. If we keep doing that I am convinced that then things will turn around as we create our own luck and things start going our way.
For example, great job by the D and of course all of the fans in creating that mass confusion along the Bears o-line, I was absolutely loving that.

I know, it was horrible and I know this problem will appear again next Monday against Dallas. That hit on Ramsey deserved a 15-yard flag, the guy jumped up to hit Ramsey with a flying clothesline, something out of the WWE. Yeah, Mushin did cough up the ball.

There is absolutely no question that both those calls were not only blown, but also blown so badly that they invite suspicion. I don't remember ever seeing a jumping clothesline hit on a quarterback as bad as the one on Ramsey in the modern era. That it wasn't called, the fumble nullified, the Bears penalized, and the hitter ejected and later sure to be fined by the league is totally unacceptable.
I am still ticked off Gibbs wasn't all over it on the field. Frankly, if he doesn't file a protest with the league I'll be extremely disappointed in him.
This repeatedly rank treatment of the Skins by the officials seems grudge related and probably due to Snyder's financial success with the franchise. Anyway, it's way out of hand, especially when it extends to putting at risk the health, even the lives, of our players. I remember an illegal hit on Gardner last year that not only cost us the game when the officials ignored it, but could have killed or seriously injured him.
It's not whinning to cite what is blatantly obvious week after week. I'm in total agreement with you.

I totally agree. Did you see the Dallas game. Every call went their way. That is the only reason they won that game.
The refs better not pull the same crap they did last year.

hkhog, i am in total agreement, as any objective observer of the skins game over the past few years would be. it is simply not questionable that the skins have gotten way more bad calls/non-calls go against them than the teams we are playing. it has cost us a minimum of 2 games a year. it is a fact that the cowboys "won" two extra games last year due only to terrible officiating (1st game vs. redskins, and seattle).
i suggest that you retitle the subject of your original post to change the name of this thread-- The Official "The Refs Must Die" Thread, might be a good name.
then we can pull it up every week and continue to catalogue all the injustices.

hkhog, add me to the bandwagon. We have had too many no calls/bad calls go against us. There should definitely be a fine coming for the hit on Ramsey. I thought I noticed that his left eye was blackened after the hit. Anyone else?
After every game, every play & every highlight, I'll always remember #21. RIP Sean.
