WIN
It's beautiful to start with a WIN, I'm impressed how well the defense is playing, also what's Ramsey's status, on the TV they said he was cleraed to play, why did Gibbs kept Brunell, they only runned the ball, Ramsey's made big plays, he shwed he can be real productive in this system, also what a CHEAP shot on him, that was an unecessary roughness play.

he sucked the entire time he was in the game. so did the rest of the offense. i hate to say it, but his career as a skin is over.THE RAM wrote:also what's Ramsey's status

Im happy as hell that we won, But we are going to have to stsrt scoring more points, Touchdowns instead of field goals, If the Redskins had an offense to match there defense we would be awesome.
Hail To The Redskins!

There's no doubt he can hit a couple of good plays but he NEVER has had poise in the pocket. Not that Brunell has much, but PRam's really going to have to step up his game.
"The biggest misrepresentation there is that [it's because] Dan's got a lot of money. That's not it," Gibbs said. "We've got a rule. Believe me, if we had no rules, Dan would spend some money."

What game were you watching? Have you checked the offensive stats or Chicago's ranking on defense or do you go only by the scoreboard?

Re: WIN
did you not notice that other than the antonio brown fumble, both of the remaining turnovers were on ramsey? the line doesn't look good with him standing still in the pocket, and that for some reason has an effect on the run game. at least with brunell, the pocket moves a bit, and the o-line seems to do better when blocking, pass and run. the only offensive stats i need to see on ramsey is 1 int, 1 fumble lost. brunell, 0 int, 0 fumble. gibbs will pick the best man for the job. and i'll stand behind it. but i just think our qb situation is.... dismal, to say the least.crazyhorse1 wrote:hailskins666 wrote:he sucked the entire time he was in the game. so did the rest of the offense. i hate to say it, but his career as a skin is over.THE RAM wrote:also what's Ramsey's status

Overall, I'd give Ramsey a "C".
He threw 1 int, which I expected...and 1 fumble, which was tough to take. I saw some improvement, but at times you could still see flashes of his old insecurities.
Dammit, I'm still undecided with him.....but I'm getting impatient!!

they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.

But Hailskins666, the only reason Brunell succeeded was because Portis was dominating. The only reason Brunell seemed good, was because Portis and the running game took the team on their back.
And Portis wasn't running better because of Brunell, it was because Gibbs finally was calling plays that suited his style.
Example: In the first half with Ramsey, we just had Portis line up 7 yards deep in Singleback formation and just ram him up the gut where he was pounded. But then in the 2nd half, the plays were starting to be called in Clinton's favor, Ex: Counters, Zone Schemes, and other plays where he could pick his hole.
Just think about this, even with Portis dominating the 2nd half, we only scored 3 points with Brunell and almost lost the game.
But with Portis struggling in the first half, we had a whopping 6 points!
And yes, Brunell get us to the goaline, but threw it 2 yards short to
ey when he had Sean Taylor wide open up in the corner.
Overall, I'm still 100% for Ramsey.
