Post by 1fan4ramsey »

Is the Red Parking lot walking distance to the stadium, (I have 2 small children), or would we have to take a shuttle, thanks?

Easy walk. 10 minutes with small children.

Try to get there early, lot opens at 8am. Take exit 16 off the beltway. It will take you right to it. After the first light, off the beltway, get in the far left lane. Make sure your parking pass is hanging off your r/v mirror. :D

You will then take a left at the next(2nd) light.

There is no shuttle from the red lot.

Enjoy the game!!

Actually, all lots "officially" open 4 hours before the game so it's 9:00 a.m., not 8:00 a.m.. The nice thing about the RED LOT, however, is that you can get there before 9:00 a.m. and set your stuff up....then pull your vehicle in at 9:00 a.m. when the lot opens.

Also, exit 16 won't open until 9:00 a.m. If you get there earlier, you may want to take 17B and turn left at the first light....then another left at the next light. That road (Brightseat Road) will bring you around to Arena Drive. Make a right onto Arena drive and the RED LOTS are right there on the left.

If you're near RED LOT #4 at the corner of Arena Drive and Jericho City Drive, look for me right at the corner of the lot...with the CANOPY and the REDSKINS banner. I'll be the guy cookin' scrapple for scrapple sandwiches!

It probably says something like, you're not aloud to use this pass to hold a parking space open for tailgating... or something like that..
