Is there a QB controversy in DC again?

What? No way, Patrick is the man.

The hatin’ that you speak of goes back to last year prior to week 8. We have a new season starting next week and the pre-season is over. If those you speak of are skeptical of what Brunell will do when they go live “for real”- can you blame them? As for those that just refuse to acknowledge Brunell’s improvement … they are just haters and there’s nothing that’s going to change that.

You’re throwing that Junta label out there quite a bit since you’ve started your most excellent crusade so I must ask.
Are you the REDEEMED 1 or should we call you the redeemed_8?
Like I told your apparent anti-junta brethren support the guy on the field , state your objections to his play but don’t label those that don’t see Eye to eye with what you are saying

Why is it whenever someone supports Ramsey as our starter they always say Ramsey is fine,he just needs to make better decisions or Ramsey is has a great arm but he just needs to release the ball faster or Ramsey will be fine if he can stop dancing around in the pocket. At this point in preseason no one can say any of those things about Mark Brunell. He has done everything we have asked. He moves the chains and takes charge, doesnt throw pics, takes the sack or throws it away when necessary. My overall point is this, ff we have never seen or heard of Brunell or Ramsey and watched the entire preseason there is no doubt that everyone would think Brunell should start based upon this years performance, and thats the way it works during preseason with gibbs, everyone has a clean slate and a fresh start. All of us want to win right now. Not week 5 or 6 when our quarterbacks start to get warmed up or figure things out. I really do think Ramsey can do it and has what it takes but I think Brunell is ready right now.

Just my 2 cents

I can only assume that Gibbs sees the massive potential in Ramsey. I also feel that Ramsey just needs to quit thinking and start doing. I'm assuming that Gibbs sees the same thing. With our running game and defense, we can still win games against average teams while Ramsey figures it out. If Ramsey does figure it out sometime soon, and we are doing ok in the win/loss column, we have a great shot to win the Superbowl. I think that is what Gibbs sees.

Time will tell...

The so called Pro Mark Thread

A healthy Mark Brunell is an adequate backup (apparently as seen in the pre-season) however he is not a long term answer for us I mean I don't buy that last year he sucked because he was hurt...he stunk because he was old and not sharp. This year he seems to have worked hard to improve his overall perfomance and has looked sharp albeit against 2nd string players however he is NOT our starting QB nor should he be. Patrick has a stronger arm, and can make all the throws...Mark used to be able to make all the throws. This year number 11 finally gets to do it the right way and I think we'll see great things. Jason Cambell is our long term answer and how soon he gets the nod depends I believe solely on Ramsey..bcuz I don't see Mark Brunell beating out Jason Cambell next season...unless the Gibbs/Brunell "he drove me to the hospital and saved my life" loyalty comes in to play or Joe just doesn't wanna hear Brunell whine. Still if I know Joe Gibbs he's gonna go with who will win ball games and next year its either gonna be Ramsey with a FAT new contract...or number 17.

Nah, I just liked the ring to it. It sounded so funny to me the first time Gibbs' Hog posted it. Don't worry, I ain't H8in' on Ramsey. I 'm just loungin'in the parking lot with my #8 jersey waiting for kickoff.

Ahhhh....Sorry but I just handed out the last one. However, we do have some "Tacos al Pastor" comin' up shortly. They taste just like scrapple sandwiches.
