When I look at these cuts Its makes me think back to what Gibbs said at a press conference during min-camp about ST. If Danny Smith wants them on ST they’ll make the team. When you look at guys like Nemo. Keasey, Stoutmire,Proileau and Brown add Groom to the mix …it’s easy to see our ST are going to be much improved this year.

Well, Farris made a great showing but I suppose it was too little, too late in the crowded WR depth chart.
I'm sad to see McCune go after all of the reports of how ripped the guy is. (Although, I suppose he'd be popular in predictions of practice squad players).
I'm a bit surprised to see Wilds let go before Ade Jimoh. Hopefully this all works out for the good of the Redskins.

CUT DAY
Surprises here...Ron Warner, Robert McCune cut, Zak Keasey stays..any word on Ade Jimoh I'm guessing he's made the team. Well I wish we would have made a stab at Corey Simon and Peerless Price but in an offseason where we get Santana and David I guess another addition really isn't affordable...all I know is we need someone to guard Patrick Crayton in Dallas because that little ______ torched us at the last second last year and I still have nightmares.

I second that!!!! I don't know how the hell Jimoh keeps making it.
Two Words, special teams. But Why McCune??? Now my sig is useless. Time to get a nice one

Yeah, Jimoh is definately a good special teams player. I am worried about our depth at CB though. We have Harris, Springs, and Rogers who are all good but if one guy goes down then Jimoh is the nickel back. That scares me.

i like zak keasey, the kid has a bright future. as far as mccune, i think he will make the practice squad, he's just got too much potential to be wasted like that. really happy groom won the job, he's going to be a great asset for us field position wise, he can really make it tough from anywhere he punts from. concerns, however with our receivers. moss, patten, jacobs, brown, right? well, let's say that jacobs, with his great injury-free seasons, happens to slip up and get injured. now we're looking at antonio brown as our number 3 guy, which really scares me more than ade jimoh, who has one straw left after that tackle on thursday. yes, brown is a good return man, but so is rich parson. yes brown is fast, but so is rich parson. no brown can't catch worth snot, but wait, RICH PARSON can. i don't like to disagree with the move, because im sure htere was a good reason for making it, but you gotta keep this guy, at least on the PS. i think before long we're going to need another receiver, perhaps parson or recently cut david terrell? we shall seeee...
EDIT: what's with us cutting all those DBs? that leaves us really really really thin at corner, i thought williams said wilds could be a starter?! hmmm...

GWilds is cut and Jimoh isn't? What's going on??? I remember Wilds playing great at the end of the year last year! GWilliams said he loved how the Hokie played on the field!
Hopefully they know what they're doing!

I was really pulling for Keasey; McCune and Wilds shocked the crap out of me too. Wilds did play very well last season against one of the best WRs in the game. There must be reasons, however. I think special teams is a big one. Then again, I remember Wilds making some nice plays on special teams as well. Who knows? All I know is that the final cut-downs are some of the hardest decisions coaches have to make.
