Anybody notice that Theisman is picking the Skins to win the NFC Championship game this year?

Talk about a "homer".

I believe him. But I'm a little biased. I will never say we will lose a game. I'm too competitive to do that.

But thank you Joe. As long as we have Ron Jaworski being a homer for the eagles, and Michael Irvin being a homer for the Cowboys, why can't joe be one too. It evens the score.

But I do believe him. And I do beliebe we will win the super bowl.

Actually, you know who the biggest homer is on ESPN.

Steve Young.

I mean, I like him and think he is great at proving his points, but he is such a homer for the West Coast offense. Every time I see him, all he does is talk about the West Coast Offense, "Believe me, Mike Vick will thrive under the West Coast offense"

But yeah, Joe's a homer too.

Yeah, I have to say it's great that someone in the sports world always has faith in us even if all the others don't. He's an extreme Gibbs homer and why shouldn't he be? I still think he's crazy (in general I mean, not necessarily with this prediction) but I'm glad he likes us.

Well Im not going to complain. It'd be nice to have a nice median of analysis but we seem to always get the far negative stuff. This one is way positive so we might as well enjoy it.

can you blame him? Its Greg williams and Joe Gibbs. Its only natural to predict this. Theyre the best at what they do!

oh, and the players do their part too, i guess

Joe is usually pretty negative about the Redskins, so this is nice to see. I'm sure it has everything to do with Gibbs and Williams. Makes complete sense to me ;-)

Theismann a homer?

I'm with Scottskins on this one... that's just wrong. He loves the organization that he called home -- that much is always quite obvious.

But it rarely translates into him saying nice things about the team's play... in fact, a lot of times he seems to make statements just to give the exact opposite impression.

I think if Joe said it, he likely believed it...

lol, we can win the NFC title...

If Joe Theismann loses 20 pounds, gets himself to the gym and plays like it's 1983 :)

Oh and I agree Joe sometimes says negative things about the Skins... but last season he picked us to win 10 games...

So, who the heck knows... I think Gibbs maybe has him wearing his rose colored glasses...

Yeah, I agree but since Gibbs has come back he has been nothing but good things. I mean, Gibbs is the man.
