After watching that video, I just started laughing. He was totally joking. He was doing one of those Shaq/Dononvan McNabb interviews where he is just being sarcastic and low key.
And after watching it, there is now no doubt in my mind he is going to be a beast this year.

The Low-key/sarcastic approach needs some work. He had a few slips where the "old" Lavar almost came out.

LaVar is a strange cat at times.
I chalked up this interview to him being fed up with all the talk, and he just wants to get on the field and let his actions speak for him.
I also think the past year has been humbling for him. He saw that the Redskins 'D' can thrive without the so-called 'face of the Redskins'.

I always liked Arrington, but I feel he's a bit overrated. For all the big plays he makes, he also is quite inconsistant. You guys have a pretty good defense, but your offense is waht worries me,and by worries me, I mean makes me smile. I wouldnt be too worried bout LA...but there's plenty of other things to worry about.

I take everything Back!
After watching him last night and just absolutely drill someone, I know Lavar is gonna be back! 
GO LaVar! he even played almost the whole second half with the backups to get in playing shape he looked good out there. His enthusiasm is also there, getting the crowd in the game. He and Marcus Washington are gonna be one of the best LB combos in the league!

Why are you "worried about" the Skins anyway?? You need to worry about that Coalition of Jock Theives that you call the Cowboys, or figuring out how to get Parcells some lypo for his man tits.
Keep in mind, oh Cowboy fans of short memories, you all were 6-10 last year too. Its funny that you feel like you are in a position to judge our team/
