That dude is a clown man. It is pointless to even debate or address anything he posted. Its evident he has NO football knowledge.BH you should ban him from THEHOGS.net just for being a "focker".
"It's almost like, you play a kid's game for a king's ransom," he said. "And if you don't take it serious enough, eventually one day you're going to say, 'Oh, I could have done this, I could have done that."

The staller fans will get their when the bus gets its final flat tire and worthlessburger comes down to earth from everyone getting a full scouting report on him. He looked silly at the end of last year once defenses figured him out. Once again, they will go no where...They don't call them the SH^%sburgh Stallers for nothing.
HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!

Don't forget out-of-town fans like myself....
The game will be on ESPN on Friday so it will the first opportunity for many of us (without nfl package) to see the skins this year. I refuse to go to a sports bar for a preseason game!
I look forward to seeing our starters for almost the entire first half......
So far so good on the injury front .....unlike Philly...knock on wood.

Patrick’s night will be determined based on what happens Friday night .
Why did you only pick stats from 2 games(the Steeler’s won 15)??? Why the Fins with no Ricky and the E-girls without the pre-ma-donna… and … What do those two games have to do with Patrick?
You guys have a young QB in the burgh why ya’ll not hyping him? Cause he rides a bike or is it you guy’s are wondering just like we are about the QB spot.
We’ve got a plan B – How bout you guys?
Mr. Roethlisberger isn’t guarantee a warm and fuzz feeling late Friday night either. I seem to recall him getting knock on his buttpad at least 4 times when he faced us. As far as the Steeler’s Defense goes they’ll be a good test but that’s all, Our O practice against the best everyday.
gottoloveit wrote:Eagles beat you twice last year pretty good - do you now think your team is better than the Eagles are? I mean I know your all excited about the season to start but you need to think realistically
The first E-gals game was Ramsey’s 1st game as the full time starter, but that’s not a excuse a lost is a lost, but the second game we lost by a FG, you can’t group the two games together (It makes people think you are trying to overlook how he made you guys look the week following the 1st Beagle games).
gottoloveit wrote:I agree preseason is crap any way - but my point is that you guys havent improved a bit from last year
Some post really can leave you speachless.
gottoloveit wrote:In preseason you can assess the strength of your team - I've saw your two preseason games and I didnt see anything "positive" to speak of - Ramsey looks like crapola (I am surprised I was pulling for him to do well) and your O-Line still cant block. I didnt see any improvement at all.

gottoloveit wrote:And the Skins will lose 2 to Philly and 2 to the Cowboys - OUCH!
Nothing else makes sense ….why should you start now?
gottoloveit wrote:The problem with your team is staring you right in the face - its two fold 1. you dont have a QB and 2. Your O-line is garbage even with Jansen.
You say you’ve watched both PS games yet you make this comment about the O-line. They didn’t get up a sack in game one. How are the Steelers doing in that department? Portis has yet to get his (less than a regular season load) carries. What are you basing this on?
gottoloveit wrote:Patrick has one TD and 3 picks - your happy with that?
Ben has 0 TDs and one pick…. Don’t throw stones. I throw back

Who cares who wins the game as long as everyone comes out injury free.

Yes, at least Gregg Williams said the defensive starters are going to play "into the 3rd quarter."
This game is going to be very exciting because I think this will be the first one where we can really guage how good our team might be.
Portis is going to play a substantial amount for once so we can finally see what our offense is like with our best player in there. Lavar is going to play 30 snaps if he can so that will be very exciting to watch too.
This game is going to be much closer to a real game than any we have played so far. The Steelers always bring it and for once we will be playing with all of our starters for a substantial amount of time. It should be fun to watch.

yeah, and not to mention the original BEAST lavar will get almost 30 plays!!!!! with beast I and II playing, maybe at the same time (does anyone know if lavar is playing somewhat with the starters?). I think as the game progresses, ramsey will get comfortable if he can get a few throws under his belt. one thing i've noticed is that we go long on like our 3rd pass play of the game...if we can work ramsey up to going long and have long drives that wear the defense out, then we can go over the top and really capitalize on our speed.
Sean, may you always rest in peace and look down on us with the same love that we look up to you.

I think you make some great points, and I am hoping to see Lavar get some PT with the starters. Nice to have him back.

Boy, those Stillers looked great, they really took it to us...giggle, giggle...sorry to say, but I can't see the stillers making the playoffs this year....8 and 8, maybe 9 and 7...book it. Lack of running game and inconsistant qb play is going to make it very difficult for the Stillers to win games.

I'll say it again.
An OL is the engine that drives the offense that drives the team. When the OL beats down the opposing defense, the offense holds the ball and scores. And our defense can conserve their energy...and Williams plays a high-energy sort of defense.
The OL is the engine. So it was in 1982 and 1992. Gibbs has never changed that principle. Oh, and that's a reason why the sports entertainers will continue to overlook the Redskins. An OL isn't splashy. They don't call themselves Neon Deion. Jeff Bostic centered three SB winners and a fourth NFC champion. Dan Marino was QB on zero SB championship teams, but Marino is an automatic HOF. And OL doesn't make headlines. They just win games.
And ours just pounded the Steelers defense.

Great job skins... If the Interc. didnt happen for the TD it would have only been 3 to 17. Our D looked amazing, to hold any time to just 3 offensive points is awsome. Lets take this win into Bmore and give them something to talk about, even if our starts dont play much. Cant wait till the 11th, lets get this thing started. We won a SB under a #11 before so lets do it again...
And on the 7th day (Sunday) God made football, and he saw that it was good.
Regular season type atmosphere at the stadium tonight...very fun.... I thought our OL were the obvious stars of this one. What a block by Jon Jansen on that TD run in the 3rd quarter, came right underneath us...awesome play!!! Portis is in for a HUGE year playing behind this group.
Shawn Springs does not get nearly enough credit for the job he does. That play he made running down Willie Parker was outstanding (the pregame show said Parker runs a 4.23 40) and he was all over the field.
LaVar really energized the crowd and it was GREAT to see him back out there. Give him a few weeks and he will be busting heads for us again. He could have 10 sacks this season playing in GW's defense.
Ben Roethlisberger is going to be exposed this season. Now that people are expecting greatness from him they are going to be very disappointed.

Guess again. Patrick kicked butt. 12 for 19, 1 TD, 10 points, 1 interception, 141 yards in one half against the best defense (supposedly) in football. Also, 1 pass dropped, at least 4 were throw-aways. The interception looked bad, admittedly, but resulted from a missed blocking assignment and the WR hooking up instead of running an out. Bad play by Patrick but set up by two other bad plays. Also, Patrick has now shown big improvement each time out.
This one was big time.
I also have to admit Brunell looked teriffic against the 2nd string. I think we're set. My pessimistic is disappearing fast. As of right now, I think we're going to have a great year, maybe even contend.
