when they're interviewing Pierce for the piece... do you think he's gonna say,"No, the guys an average QB, the Giants made a wrong choice"...

Oopsies! What's that taste like?

Listen, i agree with what your saying about pierce hyping Hasselback...However he didnt have to go that far.He could have easily said .."I always liked his Style off play hes a gamer" and end it..I think pierce is revealing something we all feel ...The teams confidence in Ramsey is probably just as shaky as the fan base's confidence in him
That is all bs...look at Mr. Hasselbecks start vs the cowpukes. Yes the 27-0 thrashing. Ramswy has never played that poorly. I think Tim had a rating of 6. My bad rating of 0. I wish Pierce would just shut up.MEZZSKIN wrote:Listen, i agree with what your saying about pierce hyping Hasselback...However he didnt have to go that far.He could have easily said .."I always liked his Style off play hes a gamer" and end it..I think pierce is revealing something we all feel ...The teams confidence in Ramsey is probably just as shaky as the fan base's confidence in him
Death to all things remotely BLUE and SILVER!!!!!!!!!!! Hail Skins
So in 2003, under the Ol' Ball Coach (snicker, chuckle, guffaw), Pierce thought Hasselback looked better than Ramsey. "He was a gamer", he "was exciting to watch". Not "He won us some games". Wonder if there's a reason that Pierce wasn't heard about until Williams' defensive scheme made him a "somebody"... sounds like he knows less about football than Spurrier!

Exactly - Plus, he's not a Redskin anymore so who gives a crap.

Antonio Pierce, the player that helped us in our dominating defense last year. Don't hate!
I personally wanted Hasselbeck to have a shot too.

I says we focus on the Lemar Marshalls, Jason Campbells, and the rest of the lot that are here under contract.
These two players ON A RIVAL TEAM have already taken up too much space in "Hog Wash". Then again, anything they have to say regarding OUR QB situation is hogwash...

Back and better than ever!

I understand where he is coming from on Hass. Pierce was a third string back-up who got his shot, it's only fair that he root for another 3rd stringer.
They might both be starting in NY this year

Remember what Ramsey did to them last year??

I'm going to hate - he's on a rival team in our division.

The only reason he said that, is because Hasselbeck is now on the Giants. But hey, at times I would have liked to see Hasselbeck as well

He didn't say it when he was here, and has openly taken shots about the organization, probably because he was bitter that we didn't offer him more money.
Anything he says now is heresay and makes no difference. He could now say Joe Gibbs is washed up. It still wouldn't make it true.
Someone in the local media will ask someone like LA about this and then we'll get the true story. UnNtil then, it's nothing more than a disgruntled former employee launching cheap shots to me.

We did. It was not pretty. Otherwisae, he would still be around. THINK, Campbell or Tim? The choice is easy for me. We are on the right track.air_hog wrote:But hey, at times I would have liked to see Hasselbeck as well
When will we learn to consider the public media game that our -former- players get into when they move to another franchise?
I suppose that if A. Pierce said so, it must not be playing to please anybody in his new hometown, right?

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Something tells me that the skins know more about Pierce than he knows about us. I'm sure the coaches know exactly what his weaknesses are and will exploit those deficiencies throughout both games this year. One weakness is dropping into coverage, so would it not be soooo ironic to have Ramsey complete passes on plays designed to isolate pierce in coverage. Hmmmm, just a thought.
Beat Dallas!!!
