Sweet!!! That means http://www.darkerien.com must still be available. There's still time to register it!!! Woohoo!
BTW - I'm glad to see he gave it the ol'B&G colors. That's a good indicator that he'll remain a Skin.

Back and better than ever!

I hope we use him this year, especially in the Redzone. Just find the smallest CB on the other team, and have Patrick just lob it up there.
I couldn't agree more. Dar fascinates me. When he has been on th4e field during pre season the last 2 years, he has excelled. Then when it comes to the regular games, he comes Rod Gardner trotting out on the field to drop balls. I have not understood Gibbs so far. McCants has all the tools and rarely drops passes, buthe was sent on several deep patterns last year by Gibbs and McCants should be that BIG possession receiver we have been lacking.
Throw him the jump ball in the end zone...throw him a quick slant and let him break a tackle...let him go over the middle while the speed guys go downfield.
I hope Gibbs has all of this in his plan because Dar will be a real weapon if used like this.

BATMAN, you hit the nail right on the head with what I think about Darnerien. He needs to be an over the middle type possession reciever, although he can get deep at times. The guy is big and has great hands and is a missmatch on any 3rd corner in the league.
HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!

Not really. He may have asked the company handling it for him to have something generic ready to go up if he finds himself without a team.
It looks like Darnerian's site is done by the same company that does Greg Lewis' site. Sixthman.com must really love little-known WRs.
I got your number. I steal your thunder. I got your mother's maiden name tattooed on my arm.

DMAC is the man...period--not only is he huge, but he is athletic. honestly, i think if he was a little faster, he would be better than mike williams and people would stop complaining that we didnt take him. the boy's got skills, and i think we'll see them this season.
Sean, may you always rest in peace and look down on us with the same love that we look up to you.
Hail to the Redskins!
Hail to the Redskins!
I spoke to DM for quite a while after the last practice. We spoke quite candidly so I don't think that it would be right to relay the contents of the conversation. Not that it was juicy or anything but i didn't speak to him under the guise of posting it on the website either. Integrity may not have a part in the sports journalism world anymore, but it does to we 'non-journalists'. Ahem. Actually we ended up speaking about a lot of community and charity stuff... something he has a huge part in and part of what makes him a character guy.
I told him that I would try and send him some stuff for the website too.
Hard not to route for the guy... super nice person, and not really as 'quiet' as people thinks he is when he's speaking to you. He's actually quite engaging.
We NEED the type of receiver that he can be. He needs to step it up to beat Dyson out for the spot. Dyson has been mentioned by Gibbs a few times when talking about the receivers.
But he needs to get some looks in the preseason games because he's just not a very good practice guy. Too many people MISCONSTRUE this as being that he doesn't put forth the effort but it's as much that he's a football player and practices lack the intensity that a game does. That's what brings out the best in Darnerien. But in fairness to the coaches, it's hard to find the confidence in a receiver until he proves consistency... even at practice.
All Darnerien does is catch tough balls over the middle and touchdowns, something the Redskins desperately need.
Hopefully DM will bust out in a game and leave nothing to chance. It'd be horrible to see him go to another team... especially the Eagles who would snap him up in a Philadelphia minute.
DM would make us pay twice a year.
