Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

The New Guy

Post by TheBlindHomer »

Hello to all on thehogs.net. Ive been a "lurker" here for a while, and I'm really impressed with the site. The post that brought me out of "lurking" was a comment made in the Brunell thread in which someone admitted he wanted to see Brunell perform miserably. How idiotic is that? The idea of being a skins fan is to see anyone wearing the burgundy and gold succeed. I happen to feel that Campbell gives us the brightest future and the best chance of taking this thing to the next level, but not this season. So as long as all three are Redskins, then they have my support 100% redskinsmiley
I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Welcome to the site, BlindHomer.

I agree with you on this one. . .any player (aside from Deion Sanders and select other few players) who suits up in B&G is going to get my support. Brunell vs. Ramsey won't become any more of a contraversy than the fans and media try and make it to be, because Gibbs isn't going to listen to the constant whining of fans and media alike (last year's 'QB contraversy' proved that!)

Glad to have you aboard, hope you stick around for a while.

Welcome! On Brunell...

Based on his performance last year, I think it would be idiotic for Brunell to be our starter again this season.

Last year was a bad year for him. The rest of his career speaks for it's self. He's one of the top ten all time in passer ratings. Now that hes healthy, I think it's safe to say if Pat went down, we would still have hope.

That is what this is about. Welcome to the board TheBlindHomer !
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
