When I watched Jason Campbell play I saw a spark. I think he is the answer to our offense. He knows how to get the ball down the field and keep the drive alive...He also can scramble like McNabb ...and would take advantage of any hole wide enough to make a run.

His throws are amazing....we jus need our receivers to step it up a notch... (Get rid of Combs he lost us the game). Campbell can get the Skins down the field, all the way to the red zone; we just have to find a way to get into the end zone!

Maybe Mike Williams would have been the target, after all he's 6'5, 230 lbs. (Would have, Could have, Should have, it's too late, what's done is done)

The only person I can think of to make the TD in red zone situations is Cooley. That's still not enough depth....This is the main issue here. We got to put 7's up on the board every time we get the ball in the red zone. They seem to lay an egg every time they're in the red zone.

But what happened in the draft, happened, we didn't pick up Williams. Now we're in the same situation as last year...The Red Zone...that's where the money's at!

The opposing defense watches for the run, my friend, especially at goal line situations. They'll stack up the line, Portis will get stuffed and have nowhere to run. Then we'll end up kicking a field goal, like last year.

Portis is not our only running back. I know it will hurt his fantasy #s, but I don't care as long as we get in the endzone.

As far as passing in the redzone, how about DMC. I've read he had a bad first game, but I still think he can get the job done.

We have a great team, but half-butt QB play, The rest of the team could be a SB contender, but Ramsey is not a playoff and never will be a SB type QB. Campbell look very cool against the 2nd and 3rd team, accurate and composed.
Go 06' Skins, Wildcard birth & please avg. more than 15 ppg.

Portis 1300 yrd.

I'm not worried yet. The O-Line impressed me. I thought they looked good. Dockery was a surprise! I'm not going to hop on the "lets start Brunell" wagon after the first preseason game. But Ramsey has plenty of time back there to deliver the ball. I hope to see an improvement by the end of preseason. Vanilla play calling leads to a vanilla looking offense. Most of the catches were all over 10 yards. That's a good thing. Minus his rookie mistakes Jason Campbell looks like the real deal. I'm very anxious to watch him grow on this team. His throwing mechanics remind me of Culpepper and his feet remind me of McNabb. That can't possibly be a bad combination.

The defense doesn't look like it did last year but I think that's because of a few things. Obviously we were missing a lot of starters. Once the real secondary is in the overall D will look a lot better if you ask me. Run defense looks a little rough but with the starting 2nd tier that will improve. I saw glimpses of the swarming D that we had last year. A glimpse with 5 of our starters out isn't a bad thing either.

Have faith everyone, it was just the first preseason game...
