T.O. carted off the field

I just heard on NFL Live that T.O. was carted off the field this morning. Strained and inflamed groin. No timeframe on his return.

Owens doesn't return for afternoon practice

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Terrell Owens left the Philadelphia Eagles' morning practice Thursday and did not return for the team's afternoon session after injuring his left groin.

During the morning practice, Owens walked to the medical tent before being carted off the field. His official status was not immediately released.

Earlier, Owens made a pair of long receptions, including a tough juggling catch in which he grabbed the ball while he was on the ground and then spiked it behind his head. After his second catch, Owens tossed the ball into the crowd.

The disgruntled All-Pro is still hoping the Eagles will redo his contract. Owens is just beginning the second year of a seven-year deal worth just under $49 million.

Last season, Owens had 77 receptions for 1,200 yards and a franchise-record 14 touchdowns before severely injuring his ankle late in the season. He missed the final two regular-season games and the first two playoff games before returning for the Super Bowl, in which he had nine receptions for 122 yards.

He's had this injury before its nothing new. Owens is still one of the best players in the league despite all the ham and eggers that are jealous of him. I admire someone like him that can back up what he says.
