Wendell Bryant Released, Good Fit For Washington?
http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/ARI/8692900
Bryant was a first round pick just a couple of seasons ago. If Gregg Williams can get guys like Joe Salave'a and Brandon Noble to play the way they did I'd be interested what he could do with a former first round pick who still has a lot of potential. I definitely think we could get him cheap and I'd love to bring him on board

I'd rather have Calvin Pace if he was ever made available. Bryant is the typical underachiever. I say no.

Good coaches make underachievers into useful players.

I must agree, look at our defensive line. Before the start of last year, I had no hope for our line. Our line looked like trash on paper and to a lot of peolpe they still do. Fans on this site doubt that our defense will be as good as they were last year, I do not share that same resolve.
Im a firm believer that our Defensive coaching staff can get the most out of a player. Thats one reason I wanted that DE from the Browns who has been a failure thus far.
The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!

That's true but I still don't want him. He held out for a long time and stunk up the joint when he played. I'll pass. I'm not impressed with him.

Why wouldn't you want him? He's a low risk, high reward signing and he's 25!
If Gregg Williams can get an ounce of production out of him we'd have like 5 years of a productive player for minimal investment.
He'd take some work, but that's what the coaches get paid for.

I usually am ahead of the curve on Cardinal players... They're my second favorite team. They were my first love in the NFL....

IMO, he doesn't have to drive to be a an NFL defensive lineman. He has not made an impression on me yet.
Besides, if the Skins wanted him, he would have already been signed by now.
