Funny how Campbell's contract is worth more than Rogers'. I know he's a QB and all, but still he went 16 picks behind Jason.

And CBs are definitely not underpaid in the NFL, which has been a relatively well-known fact in recent years (given rule changes, publicity of players like Champ, etc.)

Change the word "camp" to "the season," then I'll be happy.

I think's Campbells has incentives tied into it incase he becomes the starter, which would make him get paid more than Rogers.

Yeah, I figured that was it. They love to report those big numbers though. I wonder how these contracts compare at the base salary and bonuses.

Carlos Rogers, agreed to a five-year, $17.45 million deal Jason Campbell signed a five-year, $7.5 million contract.

Campbell's deal includes $5.3 million in bonus money and could be worth nearly $24 million if all incentives are met.
Rodger's deal includes $11.26 million in guaranteed money

So does that mean that we'll see Rodgers' in camp tomorrow then?

Probably because he is hurt right now. He just got hurt at the wrong time, and hopefully it is just a freak accident and won't continue throughout his career.

If he is there he won't be able to do much being bound by that protective boot right?

I was listening to NFL Radio and they were laughing at Carlos Rogers' deal.

All of the draft picks above him have like $30 million contracts, and the word is that Pac Man Jones (pick 7) is going to get $30 million, and Rogers ($17.45 million) was pick 9. So that leave Antrel Rolle stuck in between a huge gap as he was picked 8 and is a corner back also.

Did Carlos get a "Sean Taylor Deal" too? Hope he doesn't fire his agent, etc....

I don't get why there was such a huge drop off for Rogers.

Thought we overpaid people...

Now we make laughable contracts...

With the media, were darned if we do and darned if we don't...
