Yea, I hate to see anyone get injured. Its just a tad bit satisfying to laugh at the Jets fans on other boards I post at who just couldn't understand why we were happy to dish him off. Its kinda satisfying because of all the articles that were saying we made another stupid move.

1. This is our 1st "I tooedd you so..."
2. Rod will be our 2nd.

I'm not happy Coles got hurt, but I am happy we got rid of him before he got hurt. Who knows how bad he is hurt, but as we all know, the injury he's had for 2 1/2 years now isn't going to get better without surgery. It can only get worse.

Him getting hurt does justify the way we treated him while he was here though. By that, I mean that we wanted him to have surgery and that's likely to have been what caused him to demand a trade. Him getting hurt is exactly why we were hounding him to get surgery.

On the other hand, Karma's a....

Now don't come back like you knew that all along. That report didn't come out till sometime afterwards. While everyone was waiting for more word on the subject you and Jets fans nationwide were taking our jabs on countless forums. I saw this on another forum and I knew it'd be a matter of time before you ran back with it.

That doesn't sound like simple news reporting. IMO that sounds like you're being a bit of a smarty pants. You made it sound like we should have known this all along and that you new it way before us.

(This is all in fun, so dont it too seriously, Ive hurt a few feelings today.)

And he will continue practicing too. He will get cortisone shots and suck it up and play hurt. But cortisone only masks the pain, and doesn't change the fact that he has lost his explosiveness, and that his foot injury will only worsen over time. He's a trooper, but he needs surgery if he is ever going to recover. His prolonging the obvious only increases the chance that he will be permanently injured.
