Check out this catch
Roy Williams (Lions WR) will need plenty of attention when we play them this season. Heres why http://badblocks.biz/~jcdenton/RoyWilli ... atch(Short).mpg

That is amazing. Roy's got such soft hands not to mention his blazing speed.
Remember that catch he had on us last year, he did that "Air Jordan" like catch... and then that juggling catch he had against the Bears in week one.
If Harrington can't excell with those WRs, he should work at Burger King.
Edit: And I just love Dre Bly's reaction. He's just kind of standing there like "what just happend?"

Any way we can get this guy? :lol
Honestly though Roy Williams (Lions WR) is a beast. He is a star already. He catches everything.
Whoever has him in about 3-4 years can count on Randy Moss type coverage being on him.
Detroit's got Charles Rogers and Mike Williams though. Put that with Kevin Jones A decent line, and a serviceable defense.
If Joey Harrington can't produce he has a problem. If they're not in the playoffs it might be time to end that experiment.
I can play qb with that line up.

Actually, we could have drafted him. But at the time, I though ST was the right pick and hopefully he will continue to prove so. As long as Taylor stays out of trouble I will be no doubt in my mind that we should have got him.
I hated K2 and Roy wasn't an option last year. As long as ST drops his act, I easily see him being the best defensive player and maybe overall player in the '04 Draft.

We could sit a log of poop behind center and he'd be an allstar Qb with that crew. Its like they mentally will the ball into their hands and it just goes where they want it.
I can catch the ball really well but I couldnt do what that man did on my best day. That was simply incredible!
The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!

We weren't considering getting a reciever last season period. We had Coles fresh off his pro bowl, a decent starter in Gardner, a 2nd round pick with potential that had injury problems, and a TD machine in D-Mac. We made the right pick in Taylor
Even as I watch this, I remember him getting punked for 60 minutes between Ahmad Carroll, Lawrence Richardson, and Tony Bua in Austin in 2003...
He is a good WR, but that memory is always bringing me a smile when I see his highlights.

So, basically, we've now seen that Harrington can throw it way over Williams' head, to the numbers on the back of his jersy, or right at the back of his shoulder (not to mention all the normal places like the hands and the chest). . . .and Williams will deliver.
I agree with what everyone else is saying. . .if Harrington is looking for excuses he'll soon be looking for them under the bench that he's sitting on.
