Jerome McDougle shot!

As I get more news I'll post it, but according to Mike & Mike in the morning Jerome McDougal was shot today in an attempted robbery.

He is in critical condition.

I was beginning to wonder if this was a true story or not since I haven't heard a word about it since it was reported on Mike & Mike...

I always thought McDougle had potential to be real good which was potentially bad for the Redskins but you hate to see something like this happen.

Thats just messed up. Am I the only person who is growing to think that Miami is a terrible city? I know its very popular with tourists and has its nice parts. It just seems like some sort of crime takes place there involving an athlete in one way or another (the most recent ones that come to mind are ST and now McDougle). I hope things aren't as serious as they initally sound.

He's already been upgraded from critical to good. It sounds like he's unbelievably lucky his abdomen wound was not more serious.

Eagles statement

"We are aware of the reports regarding Jerome McDougle, who, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department, was shot in the abdomen during a robbery attempt in Southwest Miami late Thursday night.

"Our understanding, as reported by the MDPD, is that Jerome is in good condition after undergoing surgery. At this time, we are still in the process of gathering the facts of his situation. As soon as more information becomes available, we will keep the media and fans informed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jerome and his family."

I hope JM gets better and back on the field ASAP. I don't want those birds throwing up any excuses when we whip their collective asses this year.

This is exactly why people that shoot guns at other people need to be in prison for a long long time.

Do you know what this area is like?
