Thanks. It will be a very different season with the changes incorporated in the collective agreement.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Yes, the players should hire someone new to lead their union ASAP. They gave up their pay checks for a whole season, and in return the signed off for a lower cap then they could have signed prior to the cancellation of the season AND a 24% rollback of current contracts.

At least the Caps were ahead of the curve, so to speak. They dumped all the high price guys they had last year (although I wish they would have kept Mike Grier) and now they have an excellent nucleus of young players and about $10 mil under the salary cap to hopefully bolster their corps of defensemen.

Looks like Doig is gone, who I thought was an up-and-comer, but there are a lot of high-quality free agents out there to replace him.

I remember a ton of people were pissed when they dumped all those players but that was the best move the Caps could have done.
