Yes they do. He was so dedicated to her care over the first 8 years of her coma (Brandon, it was 15 years not 7. 7 was the number of years pulling her plug had been adjudicated in the courts.), that the hospice had to get a restraining order against him because, he was upset that they were not giving her enough care. He made sure she never got one bedsore. And his portion of the million dollar settlement (lawyers aren't free), that you think implicates him, all went towards her care over the last 15 years (health care isn't free either). That bastard!
Actually Redeemed, I'm a little surprised that you fall on that side of this issue. Just because medical science can prolong the life of a person, doesn't mean that God wants it that way, does it? It seems to me, He called Terri's soul home long ago.

Sorry I'm so late in replying to your comments, I just found this thread. I don't hang around the Lounge much.

You're absolutely right. From now on, let's just let the disabled die. Am I right?

Perhaps I could've been more clear about what I meant by "prolong the life." I was speaking in the technical sense that her heart was still beating. But if you call a persistent vegetative state with 1/2 a brain (and the rest deteriorating), living, I guess we just disagree. She was a little beyond "disabled."
