I would not think that Joe is going to bring anyone in that could be a disruption and especially not any player who thinks he's better than the team or who thinks he will make the team better just by being here, like a TO. Joe would not trade Rod for TO! This team is going to have talented players BUT they will be team oriented, talented players and they will only be brought here if Joe or Greg thinks they will fit in.

We already tried it with fantasy players, I do not think Joe (or Greg) are going to make that mistake again.

So you are saying Gibbs would NOT trade "Rod" for T.O.??

Are you insane????? In that hypothetical situation, if we had a chance to get T.O. straight up for "Rod" and we didn't get him, Gibbs would be run out of town by every sportswriter in this city.

Dude, you just won the Homer of the Year Award.

No skinsdomin8 you are completely wrong, I also dont think he would make that trade, TO is a team cancer, this is also the reason Gibbs took a cap hit for Coles, signed only David Patten and Casey Rabach as "big" names in free-agency, and didn't want to pay Smoot and Pierce. Seriously man get this through your head, this isn't fantasy football and this isn't madden, you can't just put TO and Randy Moss and every one on a team and expect to win, you may win one year, but you wont be competitive year in and year out. Gibbs is building for long after he is gone, he isn't in this to help his career win percentage, or win another super bowl( even though both would be nice), he wants to " right the ship", and putting TO on this team would not be doing so

Yeah I guess passing on the best receiver would really help this team, or even your mancrush that is Ramsey.

Owens was spectacular last year and keeps himself in shape. Those of you that continue to bash him no nothing about football. He merely wants to be paid what he is worth.

I think Snyder would jump at the chance to get Owens in that hypothetical situation and he would be roiled by everyone if he didn't.

Mancrush, dude, he is our damn QB, get that through your head. Gibbs is going to put whoever he can around him, and train him, until he fails. I will support whoever is the QB of the redskins, even if Brunell is put back in there. I think you will see your name in the smack forum A LOT after next season or if Ramsey gets off to a great start

LOL "Smack Forum".......ahhhh yes, where the homers reside.

I don't go into that forum because what I say is the truth and I don't need to read 3rd grade dropout dribble.

Get used to the fact that Ramsey won't be here after this upcoming season so you Ramsey-ites need to prepare yourselves for this. Get therapy now because there will be no more excuses for him.

I would agree that Ramsey will not be here next year BUT that will be because he did not get the job done. IMO that will not happen but this is the NFL and nothing is guaranteed! I think it is "okay" to support Patrick as our QB but if he is given the opportunity and does not perform then he will not be our QB for long. That is not being a "blind" fan that is just a matter of fact. Some of us want this team to be very good with who we have here now and not with any cancer-type "superstars" that a bunch of other loser fans want on their fantasy team or whatever.

I would much prefer to win a Super Bowl with a bunch of players who were not selected to the Pro-Bowl than have a whole team of Pro Bowl players who lost the NFC Championship game.

By the way, thank you for the "award"! And, thank you for providing the opportunity to find so many things wrong with your posts and your attitude to our team.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

There is no way Gibbs would bring T.O. to town. He's a cancer to team chemistry and Gibbs won't have players like him...

And after Ramsey has an excellent year what will you say then? It's stupid to make statements like you do about Ramsey because you have no idea what he will do. You can say you think Ramsey will suck and that's fine, but to make statements as fact, just sets you up to have no credibility on this board. You may not care about that, but if not, why are you here?

What is Ramsey's win loss record so far? (Without the same old excuses).

I rest my case.

Gibbs would definately trade Rod for TO. TO would be our best option at QB....

Rest your case? You can rest your case all you want, but the FACT remains that you don't know what kind of season he is going to have or what kind of career he is going to have. Say, that you think he will be gone after next season, but quit acting like you know things nobody else does. I think he will do great things next season and you think he'll be 2nd string material at best. In about a month and a half we'll both find out...

- I'm getty ready to see an improved Ramsey. Is he Mark Rypien with a stronger arm? Maybe. He's tough like Rypien. He has an arm...in fact, maybe a stronger arm than Rypien. Could be. Ramsey has had a year to learn Joe Gibbs, and all off-season to link with the receivers. He will have a stronger OL, and a quicker running game this year.

- Unless someone can show me evidence that they can see the future, I doubt that Ramsey will collapse and be shipped out.

- Where is the evidence?

I do not mind the "give Ramsey a chance" attitude. But please do not compare Rypien to Ramsey. The only year he did anything was the Super Bowl year.

But lets go Redskins!
