The way Springs played last year, he certainly belongs in that group IMO... but in a system defense like Gregg Williams', I guess we have to live with a little less 'individual' recognition occasionally.
Springs was everything the Redskins could have hoped for last year, and more.
... and welcome to the board thedancing bear.

Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

The less recognition we get the more i hope our D punches everyone in the mouth this year. Instead of waiting for it I say Gibbs',GWilliams and company have the Skins MAKE the media recognize us by destroying EVERYONE........and let the paramedics sort 'em out

I take these type of rankings with a grain of salt...This is his opinion...and don't forget, opinions are like noses...we all have one (except for Michael Jackson, of course).
Over the years, I've seen a lot of "experts" or reporters or whatever -- give their take on a team or player during the offseason, and they're way off. A good example, I'm an O's fan and the national "experts" didn't think their batting lineup was that good. I kept looking at it and saying -- it's loaded...well, guess those experts were a bit off and this amateur was a bit more informed.
Skins -- With our current roster (not star studded per Clark) and Joe Gibbs as our coach, we'll be good...period. The guy is an outstanding leader...we will be a good team. Like Gibbs said in his video yesterday (Redskin.com) -- we had 3 tough losses last year, we had injuries to guys that we really were counting on -- nothing seemed to go our way. Give us those 3 wins and we're 8-8...not that far-fetched either.

As a SKINS fan you have to think this... I know I have to... I mean, remember how many of our players got snubbed for the pro bowl? I have to calm myself down by counting down from 10... that's how pissed I was...

I just really like this line...

2 thumbs up
Don't matter where you are.... YOU'RE IN REDSKINS COUNTRY!

Yeah but Antonio above Urlacher, Thomas & Bruschi? I love Antonio but lets not be silly now.

We are talking about The national media here, right? Antonio did more than the 3 of them combined.
Antonio Pierce left the Washington Redskins for a conference rival. How you gonna top that

So how does that explaine LaVar making the list. He did next to nothing last year.
If you are going to agree that Antonio is better the three guys listed above you are just not being objective.
