Going Back to Cali Simply put: The Zen Master is back. The Lakers announced the hiring of Phil Jackson as the team's new head coach on Tuesday. Jackson led the Lakers to three straight NBA Championships in his first run in Los Angeles.
I really don't get this. Kobe hates Phil, and Phil hates Kobe (he even said so in his book) and now that have been been off for a year, everythings better?
The only way I see a friendly relatioship comming out of this is that since Shaqs not there anymore, Kobe knows it's his team, and Phil knows it's Kobe's team...
Still though, this is pretty wierd.

That is the last thing Jerry Buss would do, especially after he just gave him a 120 Mil. contract. And even though I hate the Lakers, I think they will make the playoffs next year because Phil Jackson knows how to use a superstar guard to his maximum potential. And if they get a good PG in the draft, say Raymond Felton, I can sadly see them getting a 6 or 7 seed.
