Thanks everyone.

Well, it went pretty well today.

It's pretty sad that I won't see most of those people again. It's a hard thing to take but I'm just glad I made it.

Thats what reunions are for. Make sure not to bring a date to a reunion because unless they went to your school they will be bored.

Jake -- I didn't know your mom was SkinsChic...does your dad post too??

I have a daughter who is one year older than you Jake and a son one year behind you...I'm really feeling old...

In today's world, you must have a college degree. I highly recommend you go for that...as dumb as it sounds, the paper means a lot.

I run an office of nearly 500 people. Of course, we do a lot of hiring -- a college degree gives people a leg up.

I graduated from MD in 1980 and loved it there. I really enjoy going back to visit - especially for football and b-ball games... My son is considering a handful of schools, College Park is on his list.

Good luck to you now that you've made it through HS.

Congrats Jake.
Any chance you can hook me up with those media passes during camp? :)

Congrats, Jake.

Don't do what I did when I first went to undergrad...and drink yourself silly for 2 years and bag all my classes! I left with a blazing 1.6 GPA after 2 years.

Didn't go back until 5 years later (when I had my head on straight) and got As and Bs. I raised my GPA enough to get into law school, where I did much much better.

Long-story-short, have fun in college...but focus on your studies more. That's where your future lies, not at the bottom of a keg.

Just my My 2 cents

Again, congrats young man!

I'm sure his mom is going to be fine with the heavy drinking and low grades. Long-story-short....drink the first two years...and then start working hard.

hehehhe....good stuff.
