Season Tickets
Hi guys, I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question but I have a season ticket question. I've been on the ticket waiting list for about 15 years, I just recieved a letter today stating my tickets are available. On the form it asks if I want endzone for $490, or sideline for $640. I'm assuming both are nosebleed seets. Does it justify the additional money for sideline? Also, is anyone familiar with how this process works, once I send the money is that all I'm going to have to pay or is this just the begining, ie. hidden paperwork fees, seat lisence fees and such. One more thing, given these seats are probably not the best, do you think I'll be able to atleast get my money back by selling them on eBay if I can't make it to the game? I'm thinking about getting 4 seats together, but doubt my family will be able to make the majority of games. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

If the Redskins start winning...you'll make your money back on the Dallas game alone. You should be able to get face value or more on opening day regardless.
If they look like they'll be out of playoff contention by midseason, you're going to have to practically give the tickets away. I've got incredible seats late in the season because Johnny Bandwagon, the season ticket holder, doesn't support his team during losing seasons...so I've got $100+ seats for $20.
The best thing you can get as far as resale value is the parking pass (aka the Tailgating Pass)...those can sell for over $50 a game regardless of their record.
Hope that helps.

Well, I just took the plunge. I just bought 4 seats in Section 408. I have been told by friends that you need to start in the Upper level or club level. You can eventually move down later. I recieved the same letter. I have been on the waiting list for 10 + years. They do not have many groups of tickets yet, so if you are gonna buy them, do it soon!

Season tickets for 4 seats for $490 or $640?????? I would take either one in a second! That is something new to me I had no idea you could get season tickets for that cheap. I'm paying $1600 for 2 seats but they are section 222 lower level. I would of never thought they had season tickets for that cheap,(Including Dan's nice obstructed views). Nosebleed or not it's the skins, TAKE THEM QUICKLY!!! Congrats on your letter!
HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!

hey guys, do you know if there is a way to find out what position on the list you are in?
i think i used an email address that is no longer valid to sign up for the waiting list. Is there a way to change that? I checked around on the redskins.com website, but i didnt see anything.
went tto one game last year, and loved it.

Those prices are for 1 seat in the 400 level. Endzone is $490, sideline view is $640. So for 4 I'd be paying around $2000. I think I'm only getting 2, we live about 3 hours away and have 2 kids that are active on the weekends. I'll probably only make it to the division games and take 1 of the kids. My wife won't let me get all 4 for fear of not being able to sell and recoup costs. If the Redskins have a good year I could probably get back what we paid, but if they stink and not making the playoffs, I probably would have a hard time giving those games away towards the end of the season.

As to whether or not it is worth the extra money is a matter of personal preference.
The problem with end zone is that the game is played on the opposite side of the field half the time, but you can really see the plays develop as they are designed.
I prefer sideline seats because I think you get a picture of the overall game better, but not to speak for DEHog, but I believe he prefers the end zone.

Pay extra for sideline! My first set of tix was high up in endzone and, frankly, they sucked. Next year we switched to sideline view. About the 25 yardline. They were about 6 rows higher but still MUCH better.
As far as costs, you should be able to dump them for face w/out much prob especially if you sell before the season.
Do you know anyone you can go in with? I split mine w/ a buddy. He gets 4, I get 4 and we take each other to one of each of our games so we actually get to see 5 of the 8 home games and it helps defer some cost.

Question for Season Ticket Holders
Have season tickets already been mailed out? If not, when do they usually arrive?
