Look...dyson is a veteran who has his head on straight. I can see him helping us on some 3rd and 5s and 6s. He atleast knows to run 6 or 7 yards on a third and 5. He has field sense is what im saying. It adds some good depth and also lets the other receivers on the staff know that there is no gaurenteed starters yet. We need to push players like Mcants and Jacobs because if they play to there full potential them to alone could help push our offense over the top.

I really don't want to be the 'perfectionist,' I'm just trying to help some of the mods out.
EA7649, the site has a search button. You can use the feature to find posts and continue on them instead of creating a new one. Just lettin' ya know! BTW, welcome to the board!

"I was on the sideline and guys were talking about the score, and then it hit me -- we won by 21. I came in the locker room and I yelled it out, and immediately I just kind of broke down in tears. Because I miss Sean, you know."

I think we already talked about this.....
But i think we got Kevin to see if he still has some left. if he doesnt he just adding more competition at WR which would make other WRs step up. I personally think thats whats goin to happen. I dont see him earning a roster spot.
What i see happening is that Taylor Jcaobs and DMAC steping it up and do well.

When this was broached the first time around about a month ago, I said, "Why not ?"
My tune remains the same. It would be nice to finally find another Ellard-type that nobody else wanted.
Why shouldn't it finally happen to us ? At the very worst, he stinks and we release him. No harm, no foul.

All I have to say is that #1 jersey that he is wearing makes him look like a beast. Hey, he's not Braylon Edwards or Mike Williams, but at least we will have a wide receiver wearing #1 in training camp who stands over 6 feet.
I wish he could wear that thing during the season, if he makes the team, it just looks right on a receiver.

SPIT HAPPENS!!

Dyson hasn't played in almost 2 years we don't what he can do, we know he has been rehabbing/training for over a year and sould be ready. Because no one really knows what he brings to the team it will lower the comfort level of every WR on the team while raising thier level of compatition

Wait....how was Dyson able to bite an ear off while in his helmet? I don't get it...

×No, what I mean is Kevin Dyson is washed up, probably just as washed up as Mike Tyson is....
×Dyson had a lotta injuries which probably slowed him down ....he had an achilles injury, which he better have recovered from....otherwise he's just a waste of time and money.
×I dont think you'll see much of Dyson after this preaseason.
1.5.2. Happy Passover!

Yeah I'm sure Bubba Tyer and the Redskins training staff never even thought to look at Dyson's past injuries and how they were doing. I'm sure they just figured ah what the heck -- we've heard of this guy.
As stated throughout this thread... Dyson doesn't even have to make this team to be effective... if his presence pushes other WR's to play better, it was worth bringing him in. If he steals a roster spot, then obviously it was very worth giving him the shot.
Sure it's all predicated on him having recovered from past injuries, but do you think that you're the only one on the planet that knows about his injury history SkinsLavar? Vinny C addressed it directly the day they announced the signing. Obviously they took it into consideration before inking him to a deal.

Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.
