note that the only RB listed above him is Ladanian Tomlinson.

I know im so glad we got him, great pick up he plays with confidence, and he should be the focal point of our offense next year

The funniest guy on that list is definitely Brian Urlacher.

They say he's never been as good as his hype but he is still "good"

Haha

I cant believe anyone actually believes he is one of the 50 best players in the NFL. That's ridiculous.

This time next year I'm thinking Taylor/Arrington/Washington will all have a shot to crack this list and maybe be pretty high up in it.

I can't believe that the media continue to think of our O-line as "bad." I mean the worst that you can say is its average. Samuels, Thomas and Jansen are all top notch. Raymer is at least average. Dockery hasn't been great but this will be his third year as a starter.

umm redskins o line was one of the worst o lines in nfl this year ramsey and brunell barely got any protection and our passing game was just soo damn pathetic and CP is lucky he got 1300+

It wasn't luck, it was 5,000 carries.

Yeah he'll be here his full contract. Unless he gets injured, then he might get into some trouble with what he's being paid if the coaches want to reduce it.

But if we alternate, he should stay healthy!

Really? On what do you base that? The entire offense is blamed on the o-line? Our poor offense had nothing to do with poor QB play? Two starting receivers who didn't play with heart?

The passing game was the fault of the QB, WR's and 12 year old playbook. Because of this every team we played put eight men in the box.

Street and Smith rated our Line as 3 out of 5 stars...average. Profootball Wekly rated it as a B+...above average. But you....Who clearly know more than them...say its the worst in Footballl?

I must say that are o-line was not the worst in the Nfl,but on the other hand just average doesn't cut it either.I can remember last season and all the yellow flags flying.Offsides number 60 washington or holding number 52 washington, just examples. We were one of the most penalized teams in the nfl.The truth hurts sometimes and you must deal with it and try and fix the problem. My opinion is to get us back to playoff level, it all starts with o-line and just average is not good enough.I would love to see a O-line that plays above average and if that happens portis should have no problem uping is average to 5.8 a carry and have hundered yards rushing in every game.Portis rushing like that should also open the deep ball threat. So should we have another average year at the o-line or a above average year?

I hear ya. And I agree....I'm just saying we don't have a bad line...and certainly not the worst in the NFL. Even last year without Jansen we were at least average. This year with Jansen and Rabach we should be better. Not to mention an extra year in the scheme.

Rosenhaus represents Portis, so the long term contract means nothing. You never know when things can get ugly these days. If Portis has a better season in 2005 then he might ask for more...like T.O. ... Its the Rosenhaus way.

And our best run blocker coming back from injury wouldn't change the o-line dynamic would it?

Two words why the o-line would have been better than last year's without even adding Rabach -- Jon Jansen.

Anybody who doesn't think that bringing the Rock back into the fold, AND adding a good young center... probably isn't expressing that an informed an opinion.

We at THN also think that Lennie Friedman is going to really, really push Dockery for the starting position at left guard... maybe even win the slot. Regardless, having Raymer and Friedman to back up Dockery and Rabach is most certainly a huge improvement in depth.

With the return of Jansen playing along side of Randy Thomas, if you don't think that's going to drastically improve running behind the right side, then i don't know what to tell you.

And all of that is without acknowledging the added cohesiveness that will come from having played in Bugel's system for a year plus.

I see little reason not to be optimistic that the o-line will be a lot different in 2005 than it was in 2004.

It remains to be seen whether or not they will earn comparisons to the formidable Hogs of old, but personally... I certainly think that there will be marked improvement and the person who will benefit from that the most is Clinton Portis.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

without a doubt,, it would be impossible not to improve, rabach is going to be a key aquisition....it all starts in the center and he is going to be a force. You cant say enough about jansen...hes a hog for life and a stud at that. hes going to bring the pain....all year long

I can't believe they didn't put Ricky Williams on the list, either.

Surely he played so well in those two games to put him at the top of the list!

In 2 games I'd have to say nope he didn't do enough, but if he had 1 more game he'd be top 5 easy

I bet if he had known that he would have worked even harder to get back from whatever injury he made up ... had. I meant had.

Such hate from the Eagles fan. I wonder why he would hate on our running back, what could it be?
