I must be the only person in America who doesn't think that movie is funny.

You must've been one of those popular kids in high school that didn't pay any attention to the geek squad.

I thought there were certain parts that were funny but the majority of it was boring.

I agree, I found some of it to be amusing (the karate teacher comes to mind) but my god I've heard that movie quoted far too often in the past few months.
The plot is bascially a rip-off of Can't Buy Me Love with a less sympathetic main character and slightly more quirky cast.

I almost called my work one night and used the soundboard to ask if their chicken had large talons. It was probably a good thing I didn't.

I did call KFC and do that, though.

I saw the movie this week...twice!! It's "stupid funny", where things are so ridiculous it makes you laugh.

BTW - For ND fanatics who are also T-Mobile subscribers, there are new downloadable Napolean Dynamite ringtones available. FYI

I thought Napolean Dynomite was the biggest waste of time on the planet Earth.

The only funny part was Uncle Rico, and he wasn't even that funny.

And what made it worse, was the 5.7 billion people quoting everything he says.

Don't you see? That's the brilliance in the movie!

It's not 5.7 billion people quoting what was said in the movie...
The movie "quoted" 5.7 billion people.

I think the reason for the movie's success is the fact that MANY people could see at least a little of Napoleon in either themselves, or a friend they went to high school with.

Maybe not the best movie ever made, but I can always appreciate some funny -stuff-.
