Does anyone find that ironic? Perhaps he made his own crack before the (female dog) set him up.

LOL!

Haven't like, three kids been shot at Ballou High School this year? I wonder what Barry was teaching in that chemistry class!

Obviously NOT bullet-dodging.
If men can run the world, why can't they stop wearing neckties? How intelligent is it to start the day by tying a little noose around your neck?

10 years ago, he visited a yacht club my grandparents lived at in Mayo. Why? I have no idea. Mayo is about 40 minutes from D.C.

The plate on his Benz said "Rock". Coincidence... I think not.

Are you kidding me? Hahahaha, now that's hilarious. You'd think he'd want to get rid of that stigma. 10 years ago I was 15. I remember being in St. Louis when that scandal hit but I think I was only around 10 or 11 at the time. Only in D.C. is a mayor re-elected after being convicted of smoking crack and flaunting it.

My dad works in DC with some stuff for the government and he used to know Marion Barry pretty well. He said for the most part he was a pretty good man so I dont find it that outrageous that he teaches kids despite his crack scandals or whatever

And I'm willing to bet that there are MANY more teachers out there (I think I even know a few) that have little closet drug issues...

Actually, in all seriousness, his heart means well and his intentions are good but his execution and lack of a worldly view are what screwed him over (in addition to personal deamons). I met him a while back and know people that worked in DC gov back in the day and by all accounts he's a genuine guy.

He has a lot of flaws and just wish he would get out of politics to let the city progress.

So were you 15, 10, or 11?

Are you related to Marion?

You said that 10 years ago you saw his car at your G-rents Yacht club. 10 years ago I was 15. I remember the scandal happening while I was in St. Louis at (I think) the age of 10 or 11. I was trying to determine if this was before or after the scandal. It was apparently after. He was clearly flaunting his conviction. I thought that was funny. Jake, don't make me go batman on you!
