To all my skin fans, lets rally together!!!!

Post by skinpride1 »

Im trying to reach out to all my fellow skin fans.I know that we have been through the heart aches and remember the days of glory. We are on the brink of yet another season.Im wondering again if we will ever be a play off team.Only once in 1999 have we seen the playoffs since gibbs left and his return to the team.I follow all the team news and wonder what it will lead to.The nfl always is changing just like life. What worked ten years ago is not always the answer, but the fundamentals are still the same.Hard work, discipline, pride, and the will to be the best are hard to deny.I hear you talking guys (Nikih,welch,tcwest,hatsoff2gibbs,clintonportis,chrisluvaluva,1niksder).I read all your posts and I must say that you understand it all and what it means to be a true redskin.Even if this year is yet another flop. I bet you will still be here pulling for the team.Hail to the redskins!!!

As "someone" once said - "patience is a virtue" - I am really looking forward to this season and I have a lot of faith in our coach to get this team back to the team that we expect and soon!
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Here's a quote I made up last year when i was coaching a pop warner team.

" You know what makes winning so great? Losing"

All the hard times that we Skins fan have suffered through the past year will make winning that much more fun!!

I have always felt the same way. Well put, DE!

Edit: And lets not forget how sweet it was for the Red Sox last year; ALLLLL those years of losing (I pray the Skins never have a drought that bad) truly sweetened their win in the W.S., and the fans will probably never experience such joy (from being a sports fan) for the rest of their lives!

I will always be a DIHARDSKIN, through thick and thin...no matter the outcome. It is going to be one GREAT experience when the ship finally turns all the way around! In the positive direction. "Can you hear me know"
"It's almost like, you play a kid's game for a king's ransom," he said. "And if you don't take it serious enough, eventually one day you're going to say, 'Oh, I could have done this, I could have done that."

Greetings from NYC: I have been a skin's fan since Super 7. My wife and I travel 3 1/2 hours the night before the game, stay at a hotel, arrive in the Red parking lot at 9am, sit in row 28 in the 429 section to watch the game and drive 3 1/2 hours back to NYC that night. I can not wait for the begining of this season. With all the upgrades and Joe having a year under his belt I believe the sky is the limit. If we make the playoff's there is no reason we cannot win the Super Bowl (and we will make the playoff's). The only bad side is that we will have to go to Detriot instead of somwhere warm to watch the skins in the Super Bowl.

Right now my belief is that us making the playoffs will come down to the final 3 games, all of which are divisional, home against the Giants and Cowboys and @Phili

Good point. We could be 7-6 or something, with those games being the make or break...

7-6...then those games.
Wow.... We could be 10-6...or 7-9.

Or we could go 8-8...or 9-7.

So many possibilities. Those three games make or break our season, guys.

How you finish is always very important, especially this year as it will be leading into the playoffs IMO. Cannot wait for this season to begin!

GO SKINS.

Those first 7 games are also very important and if we can be 5-2 or 6-1 after 7 this would be huge. It is most important however to beat both the gints and the pukes.

I firmly believe that we will be in the playoffs!
