haha The liberals just dont get it
You crazy liberals still dont get it and thats why ur gonna continue to loose elections! America is not a liberal country and majority of us do not agree with these leftwing looneys. We do not support gay marriage! If the lord wanted gays to get married he would have created ADAM and STEVE not Adam and Eve! We do not support allowing young girls under 18 to get an abortion without there parents consent like John Kerry does. If you dont believe that just listen to the debate they had. We all could see right through Kerrys lies. He said whatever he thought the people would like to here but I guess America is not as dumb as the French and the UN thought we were. I hope you guys keep telling Fat boy Michael Moore to run his mouth every election year along with all the celeberties because when the liberals dont say a word about all the lies they say it makes them look just as bad. Kerry voted to raise taxes his whole carreer and all of sudden he wants to cut middle class taxes. "just another lie we all saw through" Us fellow Americans also showed that we dont believe all of Cnns "CLINTON NEWS NETWORKs" lies or Dan Rathers Bs. We do support our military 100% unlike he did. I am not knocking his service in Vietnam one bit and I do appreciate what he did as far as defending our country! If you gonna say well Bush didnt serve in vietnam I will tell you either did Clinton, not even for a day, and you guys still love him so thats a Wash! What I dont support is the fact that he tries to cut all of our major missles, bombs, aircrafts and many other military weapons that we are now using today to fight the war on terror. Anyways its pathetic you guys cant have a candidate that you actually like, you get more votes just because they dont like Bush. If mickey mouse ran for president this past year he would have gotton exactly the same amount of votes Kerry did. Mabey you guys will learn in 08. I Doubt it though

Dear No1SkinsFan,
A few bits of misinformation in your post. Kerry didn't support abortions for girls under eighteen without informing parents, nor did he support gay marriage. Also, he voted for budgets that contained tax cuts dozens of times, and never voted against the discontinuing of the weapons you mentioned. Senators don't vote for or against specific weapons; they either vote their approval or disapprove of military budgets. The weapons discontinued you mentioned were a part of a budget package worked out by the military and Dick Cheney--Kerry simply voted for the military's proposed budget as approved by the White House.
Tax cuts and tax raises are generally part of an administration's budget proposal as well, not separate votes. Kerry usually voted with the majority of both parties in supporting or rejecting proposed budgets. The argument that Kerry voted to raise taxes so many times (however many it was supposed to be) was simply an election year political bit of nonsense politicians use on the uninformed voter. There are no such votes, no more than there are Senate votes on weapons.
There are generally no up or down votes on tax cuts or raises or weapons cuts in the Senate.
Also, Dan Rather's source was invalid. The fact that Bush was missing from National Guard duty for nine months or so has never been refuted.

Sigh,
Just another of the many people who think that being a Christian means judging your fellow man. (Adam and Steve how clever and origional!)
How Christianity ever got tied into conservatism and intolerance I'll never know! They run completely counter to each other.

So........by majority, you mean 52% of the population?

And why compare Bush's service record to Clinton's? Why don't you compare Clinton's service record with George Washington's while your at it.

By the way, you think it's easy for the democrats (sorry, crazy libs, in your view) to pick a candidate? I don't get to choose from a group of 1,000 people. I get a couple options in the primaries, and one in the election. But I guess you're right - I can't choose a good candidate.

Many of my friends are republicans (not conservative christians; republicans) who argue their case intelligently.
Well, thank you for proving that there are also the lemmings who simply go along with what people tell them to. I'm tired of hearing the same old slosh from what seems like the same voice over and over again.
It is crucial that we form our own opinions from the facts. Just reiterating the same boring neocon message does nothing to support the cause of the right.

Its people like you that are ruining our nation’s reputation. Your ignorance and stalwart belief in Republican values, not conservative values, Republican values have apparently blinded you to the real purpose of society and civilization. The entire reason modern government exists is to ensure mankind and his society continues to progress forward. And when I say forward I mean more inclusive to everyone. Republicanism is backwards. First of all, we have taxes for a reason, to provide citizens with services they cannot attain by themselves. Tax cuts accomplish only one thing: satisfy the greedy wealthy. Who cares if a politician says he’ll cut taxes when he only will raise them; politicians are all untrustworthy whatever side of the aisle they are from. And the thing that bugs me the most about ‘pro-lifers’ is that they are all hypocrites. I have yet to meet one person that is against abortion that is against war. My ex-girlfriend was adamantly against abortion because she said the babies were helpless and she was right but guess what, if you have a 500 pound bomb falling on your house I guess you’d be pretty helpless too. You speak about defending America, talk about wash. America doesn’t need to go to war to defend itself. When I say the word diplomacy my Republican friends say, “Yea, and England wanted diplomacy with Hitler before WWII and look where that got them.) Republicanism has twisted the public against diplomacy to the point where the view it as appeasement which is ridiculous. When I hear Conservative America I think of Republicanism, when I think of Republicanism I think of greed and warmongers. So don’t speak to me about defending your country and the evil of taxes because to me you’re just selfish and ignorant. And as you put, most of America thinks like you, which must mean most of America is selfish and ignorant and you’re right. Have a nice day.

This country is split almost directly down the middle. Get your facts straight - and the Lord didn't write our constitution so stop with the Christian mumbo jumbo and open your eyes. This country needs to progress and your Christian ideals do nothing but bog us down. The bible does not run our country - a melting pot of people do and it's time to wake up and accept that. It's not your "Republican" label that bother me, it's your narrow minded, bias, christian views that do - and, it's these same views that are stalling a dominant machine that is our country.
There are many great Republicans out there and your type give them a bad name. Do me a favor and step out of your box and research things before you say them - you might just learn something. That goes for many of the recent politican threads of late... the conservative and liberal one's...
(I told myself I wouldn't get sucked into politican threads anymore - I'll try not too again

Wha...???
You're more than willing to try to impose everything else on people...why stop at religion?
btw, stop watching Hannity and Colmes, and take a visit to this website:

Why do I get the feeling that this will also be misconstrued as propaganda?

Tell Rupert Murdock or Ted Turner that... they or companies they invest in control a large percentage of media outlets in this country. Oh, and they're republican. I'm not trying to change your political beliefs - I'm just asking you to get your facts straight.

Nobody tried to impose prayer in school on my kids? Those guys who don't exist don't support Bush? Those guys who don't support Bush don't try to get creationism taught to my kids in school as a science? Those guys who don't exist and don't support Bush don't keep telling my kids America is a "Christian"country?Excuse me, then. I guess I got it all wrong.

Ted Turner is a republican? Maybe he was drunk and said he was. I know every republican male's dream girl is Jane Fonda.Redskins1974 wrote:skins#1fan wrote:not mine or yours. SkinsNo.1Fan couldn't make a valid point with a pencil sharpener. His hero Bush has been nailed cold by the Downing Street Memo as a President who deliberately "fixed" intelligence reports to take his country into a war on falso pretenses. Does SkinsNo1Fan care that Bush is a liar and a traitor. Nope! He tries to justify the worse crime a U.S. President ever committed against his people by saying that Saddam was a bad guy and Bush doesn't push his religion on people. What a joke!
That reads to me like a personal insult crazyhorse... which is a violation of our rules... and one that you have been warned about in the very recent past.
