Sapp got served by former Terp...

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Sapp got served by former Terp...

Post by oafusp »

TOO FUNNY!!!!!!

I love Kris Jenkins, and to think he was a 3rd round pick, now the best tackle in the league IMO.

[quote]Panthers DT Kris Jenkins, telling reporters his true feelings on Raiders DT Warren Sapp: “I hate him. Everybody says I’m supposed to be polite when I talk to you all. But I hate him. He talks too much. He doesn’t make any sense. He’s fat. He’s sloppy. He acts like he’s the best thing since sliced bread. He’s ugly. He stinks. His mouth stinks. His breath stinks and basically, his soul stinks, too. Too many people can’t have personalities like that and survive in life. I don’t know how he does it. I guess because he’s big and he went to Miami.â€

Remember like 2 years ago when Sapp thought he was king of the NFL and running through everyone's pregame stretches and doing that stupid dance in the endzone after he scored like a 5 in. TD.

Well remember when LaVar shut him up and was like "Sapp, I'm not lettin you in my endzone, and if you come, I'm gonna knock you down"

That's why I love LaVar!

A part of me was really hoping for that pre-game confrontation to happen, air_hog, just to see the result.

Ok, maybe I missed something, but where is the "serving" here?

One guy shot his mouth off about how he doesn't like another guy who shoots off his mouth. Yaaaaawn.

Well, I rate Griffin a small bit hire in run stuffing, but Jenkins, to me, seems a better pass rusher than Griffin, whuich makes him better.

Oafusp...
Jenkins wasnt a third rounder, he was a second rounder and if I'm not mistaken he was a pretty high second rounder too.

Edit: Yeah he was pick 44 in the 2nd rounder, one slot before we drafted Fred Smoot in 2001

I sure remember that episode.

The league "intervened", but Sapp still pranced onto the field.

Lavar had also said he would be gunnin' for him if he came in on offense. When the opporunity came up, #56 was so caught up with gunnin', that some nobody on he Bucs' roster was able to score a TD, if not 2, on our woeful defense.

That week, Lavar's best work was done in print and via soundbytes.

Those days are behind us, but that still is a bitter memory. A lot of hype before the game, but not much sizzle in what turned out to be yet another loss for the Skins.

Go #56!

In fairness to Mr. Sapp, he does have more Super Bowl rings than most (if not all) the Supertars on our roster. My 2 cents

Am I missing some point here? The implication that he has a number of rings OR maybe that Sapp is a superstar OR that there are superstars on our roster?

Sapp is an entertainer that used to be a NFL player.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I believe he is talking about playing Miami.

I don't think they do though. I think they have to play everyone they played last season in the opposite venue.

I could be wrong though.

I used to like Sapp just because of his talk. But he slowly started crossing the line. His actions at first were entertaining ...but.... they went too far. I like players who talk crap...but not those who ruin their reputations because of it.
"I was on the sideline and guys were talking about the score, and then it hit me -- we won by 21. I came in the locker room and I yelled it out, and immediately I just kind of broke down in tears. Because I miss Sean, you know."
